Chapel 1877 Bar & Restaurant: what do users think?

Pedro Freitas: Recommended dishes Chocolate Brownie, Diver Scallops, Risotto

StarGazer67676: , they also added a service charge which I'd asked via email to be removed but we still got charged for it.Trying to book a table is also impossible - no one ever seems to answer the phone, and the website just doesn't have it for some reason, so I ended up having to do it through their Instagram page!If you manage to book a table, it's worth going, but keep expectations level

Steffan Norman: Amazing meal for my anniversary, unbelievable staff and service

Gosia Poland: Great place. Something uncommon for polish tourists. Good food too!

Park House Restaurant & Wine Bar: what do users think?

Jaerson Trindade: Atmosphere: 5/5

顾梓洋: To put it bluntly, the delicious food here is worth three times the price.

Kylie Thomas: Beautiful food with excellent wine pairings.Private dining - this even was for around 28 people. Unfortunately a rugby match was scheduled for the same day and it felt like our experience perhaps suffered a little because of it. The 2 servers we had were brilliant and certainly did their best but they could have done with extra people. There was no background music so it lacked some ambience but everyone had a great time and really enjoyed the food.

Frank Sengpiel: Excellent food and nice ambience in a famous building

Campbell Ramsey: Fantastic staff, the food is amazing and a stunning collection of first class wine.

Hywel Davies: Excellent meal and service as always, the 9 course tasting menu was amazing. The Chef is to be congratulated for the inspired dishes especially the scallops which were cooked to perfection.Dietary restrictions: Very knowledgeable and helpful about the food allergy and alternatives were offered for one course of the tasting menu that might have caused a reaction.

Andrew Clark: Amazing food and a knowledgeable and attentive team. Wine paring with the food is a must. Setting is superb, such a characterful building sensitively modernised. Definitely returning 🙌🏼

Ganesh Vijayarangam: Delicious food and great service for a family of three after a long day

The Botanist: what do users think?

Grace Scott: Firstly the staff were so kind, and considerate it made the experiance very enjoyable. The food was impeccable and the cocktails were amazing! Whilst all based in the most beautiful environment. We Had an amazing time celebrating a special birthday would highly recommend for anyone wondering to go.

J Kinzig: 4 stars for atmosphere and servers. Food was very average. Felt a bit manipulated when we entered, restaurant was half empty, but wouldn’t be seated until we made a reservation. Even after waiting an hour, plenty of open tables. App for drinks did not work. Hostess posh attitude did not mesh with an establishment that sells average burgers and kabobs. Left feeling less than satusfied.

Robert Thomas: Really nice staff were polite & helpful with knowledge about drink , and dishes

Gill Logan: Tonight was my first visit to the Botanist. The food was excellent and the staff were really nice.

Emily Hawkins: Has a fab time, drinks where amazing definitely go again 🥂

DEBORAH AINSWORTH: Food and cocktail. Lovely. I'd definitely go back again.

Claudia Schiavon: Delicious Sunday Roast, awesome restaurant, friendly personnel

Laura Linsell: Lovely roast at this cosy restaurant

Margaret Sicotte: LOVED our experience so much, we HAD to go back a 2nd time while in Cardiff! Excellent vegan options & drinks. Beautiful atmosphere, & attentive, friendly staff. Greatly appreciated!

Wendy Walker: Lovely atmosphere. Food and drinks good.Only one negative is the Pre Theatre menu not available on a Sunday.

Neil V: Great place with a lovely interior and atmosphere. Outstanding customer service and yummy food. There is nothing to complain about.

Steve: Lovely surroundings.

The Classroom: what do users think?

FEA. AtGmail: We had our office Christmas meal here and enjoyed the dishes that were presented and the ambience. The high ceiling allayed concerns we had about being in a busy restaurant just before Christmas with covid on the uptick. The bar adjacent to the restaurant had a good selection of spirits and the kitchens were reported to be directed by chefs cutting their vocational teeth. Recommended!

Music Grinder: A great experience for a weekend in Cardiff, very good staff, cooks/chefs, presentation and ingredients are of exceptional quality. Price was affordable and they accommodate birthday plats which is such a treat.Wheelchair accessibility: There is an elevator and everything is accessible, saw many guests with wheelchairs which is a brilliant change for a restaurant on the 5th floor. Well done!

Vanessa B: Delicious meal. Fantastic service - welcoming, professional and attentive staff. Lovely dining area with great views ofnthe city and open kitchen. Diolch yn fawr.Vegetarian options: Clearly labelled as vegetaria/vegan. At least one vegan/veggie dish for each course. Staff know what it veggie. The merangue is vegan and had great taste and texture.Kid-friendliness: Went with out 2 children, staff very welcoming.Wheelchair accessibility: Lift in building.

The Admiral St David: what do users think?

Chander Chadha: We dined here last Thursday night when we stayed at the hotel. The food was fine and delicious and we were well looked after by the staff.Unfortunately we could not use our gift voucher against the pre-theatre meal as it was already discounted. We were choosing the pre- theatre menu because of the portion size.

Rich Deerdog: Time for an updated review of Tir a Môr.This is the hotel restaurant at the Voco. Now, normally I don’t go for hotel restaurants much. All a bit average. This place though. This place is very different. A proper restaurant with a proper menu - seasonal dishes, really well cooked, served in decent surroundings.I’ve eaten here maybe half a dozen times in the last year and it has always been excellent. High quality stuff.Beautiful fish cake with poached egg to start and tender pink lamb on a bed of greens for main. Wonderful. The barra brith bread pudding for dessert a revelation. 😎The staff here are very attentive and the service is excellent overall. Definitely worth a visit. Not cheap, but you wouldn’t expect it to be. Reasonable. There’s a decent bar here as well if you’re after drinks. 1980s classic Grolsch is available on tap, alongside Asahi. Well done.Nice terrace outside. Got a bit of an 80s vibe too. Had a few nice nights there. Unfortunately just past the time of year to enjoy it now though. 🍻

Joey Chatterjee: I recently dined at Tir A Mor restaurant in Cardiff Bay and I was blown away by the experience. The staff were incredibly attentive and made us feel very welcome. The food was beautifully presented and tasted even better than it looked. I highly recommend the seared scallops with cauliflower puree and the sticky toffee pudding for dessert. We also had some delicious cocktails, which were made with fresh ingredients. Overall, we had a truly memorable dining experience at Tir A Mor and I would definitely recommend it to others. The attentive and friendly staffThe beautiful presentation of the foodThe delicious flavors of the foodThe fresh ingredients used in the cocktailsThe overall memorable dining experience

Alison Lynne Leggett: Hotel restaurant which has access to outside space. We used it as part of the spa package. The choice of food is a bit limited but it was well presented.I probably would not eat in the restaurant if I had to booked a spa day as the parking is expensive and the food overpriced.

Gareth Griffiths: We enjoyed a beautiful mother's day here. The beef dinner with all the trimings was absolutely amazing. The staff are very welcoming and friendly. The service is quick and efficient and for a five star hotel I found it reasonably priced. We enjoyed the panoramic veiw sitting in the windows of all Cardiff bay has to offer.Highly recommend a visitParking: I'm disabled and have a blue badge so parking in the pay and display carpark opposite is free

Richard Shepherd: Fantastic food and friendly and engaging staff. Lovely mother's Day treat

Laurie Smith: , which was excellent. For mains, we had the catch of the day and lamb rump. The lamb was absolutely stunning. Everything about it was 10/10. Unfortunately, the catch of the day was quite bland and, for me personally, over-peppered.I wholeheartedly recommend the Dark chocolate and orange delice, Cointreau gel, honeycomb, and blood orange sorbet

Heaneys Restaurant: what do users think?

Andrew Drayton: We dined in for the tasting menu. Incredible food, with really well thought out flavours.Service was attentive, friendly and not at all stuffy.Thoroughly reccomend.

Waleed Khalid: A sea trout and baked potato course arrived as a wafer-thin tartlet topped with a froth of, conceivably, spume. It was light and “er, interesting.” Our first course was a bowlful of broth with a side of super-thin slivers of duck – a quackscuttio, if you will. “There’s no right or wrong way to eat this,” said our waiter, which was good to know, especially as we’d not been given any cutlery.Dumping the duck in the broth and downing in one seemed to be the sensible approach, and it was good and meaty. As was its follow-up, the oxtail and anchovy chunklets: all gone without hitting the sides.

Sarah Jones: We recently enjoyed a delightful Sunday lunch at Heanys. For starters, we savoured the fishcake in coconut Thai sauce, bursting with flavour. Moving on to the main course, the succulent and tender lamb dinner had delightful hints of barbecue and garlic. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our meal and wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant.

Ant: Heaneys Restaurant is a Michelin recommended restaurant in Cardiff. There is different menu variations throughout the week, including tasting menu. Went there for Sunday lunch and had the set menu. The interior is modern and simplistic, very nice. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. Our waiter was Grant, he was extremely attentive and anticipated the needs of the guests. Absolute star! The food is absolutely amazing. The aged beef was so flavourful and rich, all the trimmings of the Sunday roast were perfect, had a massive Yorkshire pudding. The vegetarian sunflower seed pithivier was perfect too! The desserts were exceptional! The chocolate choux is perfection! Overall, amazing experience! Definitely recommend visiting! Thank you to the whole team!

Karen A Brown: Firstly what a warm friendly greeting from the team. We'd rang to say we may be a little late as uber after uber had let us down. We turned up 20min late which we never do i get stressed. However the lady on the phone assured me it would be alright not to worry. Once we arrived we were shown a lovely round table by the window. One of the team brought us water and explained the menu. We went for the short taster with wine for each course. Oh my what a journey! Each dish so different and delicious. Each dish a master piece. Each dish explained to us. Each wine complimented each dish. The sommelier discribed each wine in detail.Thank you for an unforgetable birthday. We will return. Karen and Dave

Jacob Thomas: One of the best spots in Cardiff without a doubt, amazing flavours and innovative dishes. The taster menu is a must, great experience overall.

Andrew Ellison: Came here for our 1st wedding anniversary. Excellent restaurant with Michelin star quality food and service. We had the long tasting menu and each course was delicious. My wife is lactose intolerant and they accommodated to her needs with no issues. It is pricey but that is to be expected for the quality of food. Courses were weighted towards fish so non fish lovers would struggle with the tasting menu. But having said that I'm not a huge fan of fish but I enjoyed every course. Would definitely return again for a special occasion. I would expect this restaurant to be awarded a Michelin star in the near future.
