Mambo Play Centre Cardiff: what do users think?

Annelise Morris: Really enjoyed this especially the baby area. Bit expensive mind you but the baby bit was fab for my 4 month old.

Fergal: Great place for kids but it can turn into an expensive day! After paying in, food is expensive and there is a lot of attractions/games inside targeted at kids all of which have additional charge

Chris Mcloughlin: This place is great for children of all ages. They have separate zones for the different age groups and all looks well maintained. They have a Cafe that does a selection of food dishes and hot or cold drinks. One good feature is the locked gates to the toddler and baby areas so added security. There are plenty of tables and chairs around the whole area.At the side they have various video game machines and a seaside favourite is the 2p shuffle coin pusher, which the grandchildren just love. It's a little expensive but worth the money for the added security and facilities

Adam Lowry: Kids loved it

Lazar Angela: Bigger than I thought it would be.Loved it.We went with 2 babies and they had many interesting interactive things to play with. We were pleasantly impressed with it. Definitely coming back

Miriam Gibbs (Miriam Lewis): Terrible parking. Very big. No quieter area for sensory overload.Otherwise very well presented and clean. We had a nice time

Amy Blake: My daughter had a party here back in December and the staff were fantastic. I booked the wrong day and the wrong time and even considering all that the staff accommodated my needs and had the matter sorted in a few phone calls. My daughter and her friends loved every minute of it and didn’t want to leave. One thing that really impressed me was the fact when the enormous amount of party food came it was actually warm! I’d pick Mambos every time!

Stacey H: The only negative we had from our visit was the food.. I'd highly recommend taking your own food because it was very disappointing what was available there and very overpriced for what you get - especially for the adults! My daughter's chicken nuggets and chips were a bigger portion than my baked potato with chilli. It's advertised as having a side salad but it's more like a pinch of lettuce, onion and a slice of cucumber 🙈 the potato itself was very dry, the chilli was rather bland and for nearly £7.50 I would expect a much better quality and portion! I will say my friends panini and side salad - a worthy portion of salad - did look good but still very overpriced.Overall we enjoyed our visit and we will definitely visit again to enjoy the softplay however we will be bringing our own food next time 🙌🏼

Mohammed Islam: My experience at Shake Shack was unforgettable, combining the joy of indulging in high-quality comfort food with a vibrant atmosphere. Upon entering, I was greeted by the aroma of sizzling burgers and the sight of smiling staff. I ordered the ShackBurger and a chocolate shake, both of which were served promptly and exceeded my expectations. The burger was juicy and flavorful, perfectly complemented by the creamy, rich shake. The bustling yet inviting environment added to the overall enjoyment, making it more than just a meal—it was a delightful experience. Shake Shack has mastered the art of fast-casual dining, making it a must-visit spot for any food lover.

The New York Deli: what do users think?

Jasmine Saunders: brilliant. Was amazed at how well balanced in terms of seasoning and flavour the cheeseburger bagel was! Our last meal of our trip to Cardiff and we loved it, also loved the feel of the place, had some locals come in who staff recognised and that was lovely.

Peter Smith: Great food

oreo gaming: The Philly cheese steak is delicious.

Sophie Batt: Lovely service, staff are super friendly! And the bagel was the best bagel I've ever consumed in my entire life

Rory Dewhurst: Fantastic find, delicious sandwiches that really hit the spot!

Daniel Rostron: Amazing sandwiches! If you haven't tried here yet, do so, quickly! The only place I've ever ordered from where what I got was exactly like the picture. Sandwiches had plenty of filling, lots of meat, cheese and veggies.

Ayden Nayler: Probably some of the nicest vegan food in Cardiff. Good selection and very friendly staff.

Wally's Delicatessen: what do users think?

tsukimi819: delicious. i have been here a few times with different people. they offer a student discount too for my fellow students out there. the menu has so much variety with so many options to choose from that suits many different diets. my partner is vegetarian and was not short of choices. the staff are the best, so friendly and charming. we got an extra cannoli the first time we visited and the staff just care so much. highly recommend, this place is underrated.

deborah painter: Service: 5/5

Fox Mulder: Absolutely magical shop. I used to come here when I was a kid and brought my partner to shop there and he loved it. You can find anything you want and more in this shop. It's so exciting to try new things. You pay for the quality of what you are getting, so prices are higher than usual but it's what you expect for the quality. The cafe upstairs is also very cute!

Travellyan L: What a delight this deli is. When I visit Cardiff I have to go in. The most likely place to find your dream food and drinks. The selection is incredible. This is why this shop has been in the arcade for so long. Olives, baclava, liquor galore. Chocolate and treats Take sometime to explore. So worth the visit.

Hugo Slater: We were looking for some speciality cheeses and this was definitely a good place for that. Service was personal and staff friendly.

Catherine Angle: Recommended dishes

Dai Llewellyn: Always great service with a smile - even on wet gloomy days. Love that they have a layaway system for customers to donate a got drink to the homeless, plus they always offer tea if there's no donated coffees available.Vegetarian options: From what I have seen of the menu, there are several vegetarian cakes and treats available, as well as a few vegan options. Best bet, ask a member of staff, they're all very knowledgeable about the products they sell.Dietary restrictions: They offer a range of dairy alternatives as well as a selection of vegetarian and vegan optionsParking: Brody's is situated opposite Cardiff Museum, in an area which offers plenty of paid on street parking, as well as paid bay parking around the general vicinity, and I believe a paid parking lot behind City HallKid-friendliness: Staff are all friendly and Happy to interact with children, as well as going the extra mile with any necessary additional preparation requirements for childrenWheelchair accessibility: All at ground level, and staff are more than willing to help with bring drinks over to the table

Finn Grundy: I don't remember going here, but I'm pretty sure I enjoyed it

Cosy Club: what do users think?

Winston Jonas: Great place to stop in town. I have eaten here: easily booked a table for 10 with no need for a deposit, or credit card or your first born hand in marriage after sacrificing a goat, unlike other "fancy" venues in town. The food is okay, but it's much better to come for drinks or coffee. It's got a real nice, laidback atmosphere with a nice view of Hayes from the window. I stop off here with my daughter, and even when they're not serving desert, they'll do her a bowl of ice cream, and it's good stuff 👌. TL:DR Great staff, great drinks, okay food.

Christopher John: First stop on Saturday after getting to Cardiff..Had brunch here and spent about an hour in total here. The food was lovely, well presented, and tasted great. The drink was the same, although slightly disappointed by the smoothie my friend had as that was straight up poured from a bottle in front of us. (Could have gone to tesco and got a bottle cheaper.Aside from that, I can't complain.

Julian Appleby: Excellent food as always.A bit loud for any sort of conversation, and quite dim.Youngsters would say that was the atmosphere, but as I used my torch to read the menu, and fumbled for my glasses I realised I was getting old.Would definitely go back tho.....

John Matthews: Nice informal place, seemed very similar to a Lounge in terms of decor and ambience. Good food and service, although my wife's steak wasn't hot and chips were lukewarm. Asked for the latter to be replaced - no problem, and the ones that came back were fine, so they can do it if they try. Plates didn't feel very warm, which didn't help.BTW chips are served in a little metal bucket, which seems generous until you discover that they are sitting on greaseproof paper, and you only get about a quarter of a bucket.Good amount of meat in my Spanish Chicken, and the apple pie was worth waiting for.

Nicole Maber: The waitresses here are so welcoming, recommended this highly for a good breakfast in cardiff
