Sherman Theatre: what do users think?

Jacob: Fantastic theatre, went to see an Opera double bill there recently and the venue was spacious and the seating arrangement was great, every seat has a good view of the stage.

Mary Tornabene: Small theatre, cozy atmosphere. They put on good quality performances which are often not mainstream. Good for something different. Nice bar cafe area with pre performance food bites.

Deb (TheMrsMog): . Staff very helpful and friendly.

Lesley Jones: Great show and an intimate venue.

David Paul Morgan: what can I say - best place in Cardiff for thought provoking and alternative productions.

John Loaring: A great little theatre which always has interesting performances. Absolutely loved the preview of 'The Wife of Cyncoed'. Nice place to sit and chat over a drink too.

Joy Fording: Brilliant service. Only waited 5 mins. Professionals of everything. Free service. Great people

David Price: Very nice place to visit

Stuart Fecci: Lol highly recommend a visit if you get the chance. 👍🏻

Ben Donaghy: Lovely theatre, great bar, wonderful atmosphere

Brian Calver: Went to see Peter Pan, great production, brilliant show for Christmas

Lynne Howell: Well organised even though busy.Wonderful Peter Pan production.

Babs Jones: Absolutely love the theatre. Welcoming and friendly staff, outstanding performances. 100% love it

Tom Stoneman: Went to see Peter Pan to the 23rd December and the whole experiment was magical. The staff were fantastic at accommodating someone in our party who is a wheelchair user and the show was unusual and fun as always!

New Theatre: what do users think?

Helen Jones: We go to The New Theatre a lot, to see loads of plays and musicals. The staff are great, I'm in a wheelchair and they even came to check on me during the interval. I'd recommend the New Theatre very highly.

Anthony Atkins: What can I say 🤷 😌 🤪 😏 😉

Mary Parry: Lovely old theatre I believe it is Victorian? I have been here many times. I remember going to pantomimes as a child here . A very old traditional theatre in Cardiff.

Julie O'Brien: Lovely place, saw an Agatha Christie play it was Amazing. Lovely coffee too

Margaret Matthews: West End production quality, in a beautiful atmospheric regional theatre, staff welcoming and helpful.

Darren Smith: Great performance of "And then there were none"

Gorilla Grass: Fab place great atmosphere

Polly Blakemore: Had a change of venue due to StDavids Hall having to close for repairs. We are so glad as we have now found a gem of a theatre and will definitely book again. Small but great atmosphere.

Selwyn Hughes: A Nice old theater

Paul Westwood: Great theatre, love our visits. Great show by Frank Skinner - hilarious 🤣🤣

David Collins: Great venue to watch great talent on the stage!Staff are friendly and helpful. The mobile app to order drinks is a fantastic addition, even though the bar is quick at serving.

Andy T: Saw the Illegal Eagles which were fantastic. Great venue, pleasant welcoming staff. The only negative is being charged £10.95 for a pint of lager and a bottle of Pepsi. That takes the alcohol and sugar tax to the very limit and beyond. I’d like to hear the justification for such overpriced drinks.Bags are searched on entry and drinks confiscated if found. I imagine the search is as much to do with safety as it is stopping you from bringing your own drinks in.I did get a little disturbed when the balcony started shaking when the audience started dancing. Thought we were going to end up in the stalls at one point.

Susan Dolan: The name of the theatre is somewhat of a misnomer as the building is old/dated and chilly but this is part of its charm. They put a number of shows on here, musicals, drama, comedies, etc.The seating is comfortable enough but quite narrow, as it was built before obesity took hold.If you book online, you can order drinks for the interval to be brought to your seat, therefore missing the queue.
