Lido Spa & Restaurant: what do users think?

Becky Gifford: Booked a swim & massage package. The pool was a touch chilly when I entered, but after a length or two, I was fine. The hot stone massage was amazing, I can't recommend it highly enough. There was a little noise from downstairs, which made it a little less relaxing but didn't take away from the massage itself.I didn't use the cafe or restaurant during my visit but it looked busy!

Jane Churchley: My partner and I came on Saturday evening for my birthday, the whole experience was amazing from swimming, hot tub, jacuzzi and sauna spotlessly clean throughout, staff very friendly. We then went to eat and again the service by the staff was amazing, food outstanding, we were so pleased we went for the evening, swimming with the night sky was a great experience. The whole package excellent for the price.

Jim Bennett: Really great experience. My wife and I had the lunch and swim package: the staff were super friendly and really helpful. All the pool areas were clean and it wasn't at all busy. The menu was varied and all of the food was plentiful and delicious.Highly recommended as a special treat.

Avon Gorge by Hotel du Vin: what do users think?

Carl Waterfield: Absolutely amazing hotel. Lovely room, with a view of the gorge and partial view of the suspension bridge.Decent facilities in the room. Rainforest shower and complimentary shower products also super nice!Didn't speak to many staff, but those I did were very helpful.

Louise Hodge: Great hotel with amazing views from the restaurant, just let down by a very slow meal. Took 3 hours for a 3 course meal. Since emailed to question the bill but still had no reply.Rooms: Lovely rooms and bathroom. Love the art! The duvet cover was much bigger than the duvet, which was annoying.Nearby activities: Location good for visiting the camera obscura and cave on the hill and taking in the bridge and gorge. Lots of great restaurants nearby, too.

Colin: but my son watched this after accessing the WIFI. Parking was somewhat challengingso parked about five minutes walk away. Fantastic views of Clifton Suspension Bridge.

Aaron Umba: Had a birthday dinner here in the beautiful private dining suite. Food was excellent and all guests were full and satisfied with the portions. The only problem is the staff in the lounge knew absolutely nothing about cigars and didn't even know how to cut them, they tried to be helpful, but how can they say the "staff are knowledgeable about cigars" when they don't even know the right end to cut?

Saikat Mukherjee: Luxury French hotel with British delicacy just beside the famous Clifton Suspension Bridge. Very well decorated and mainted room. The staffs are really polite and helpful. The house restaurant is one of the best in town.

Chris Stanley: Beautiful view of the bridgeHotel highlights Great view …

Hotel du Vin Bristol: what do users think?

Simon Gumm: Great stay. Huge room and bathroom. Great location but parking is limited. Parked at mecure Hotel 5min walk away.Walkability: Very central and everything is in walking distance

Lorraine Nute: Absolute gem of a hotel based right in the city, literally 5 minutes walk to shops, bars & restaurants. Our Classic room was amazing, with what I can say was the best bathroom I've ever been in. The huge shower was amazing & we were so impressed with the beautiful pedestal bath we gave that a go too....plenty of room for two wink wink. Service was excellent from check in to bar staff, nothing too much trouble. Will definitely be back.

Claire Kleinman: , really awesome that it is incentivized to encourage a more planet friendly option.

Derek Saddington: fries, and was a bit underwhelming with no sauce, rump steak was disappointing

Ann Farrow: Went for afternoon tea for Mums birthday and the food was fantastic and lots if it. Our waiter was so lovely and couldn't do enough for us, very helpful. We would all thoroughly recommend 👌Service: 5/5 …

Jaga Wilk: I've been there on Wine training. Really nice, clean place. Lovely girl in the reception.

Katie Godbeer: Just got back from the most luxurious and relaxing stay I think myself and my husband have ever had. The suite we booked had double baths and was extremely romantic. All of the hotel was spotlessly clean and the staff were all friendly and very helpful. The food was amazingly presented, tasted delicious and was very affordable. We will definitely be back again!

Jan Blackmore: Lovely well appointed hotel right in the middle of Bristol but just set back in a rather nice quaint area. The welcome was wonderful, friendly efficient staff nothing was too much trouble. The hotel manages to feel more like a home than a hotel and make you part of their family.Nearby activities: So much to do and see in walking distance. Walk out of the hotel and across the road and follow your nose. Indoor market, street art, boats and history.Walkability: Every thing is very walkable in Bristol and the hotel is right in it but without the noise.

Laura Williams: We love Pasture anyway, but we went to try Radius for my husband's birthday and it was fantastic. We had a 7 course taster menu which was stunning, and beautifully and playfully curated, hats off to the mastermind and the team to pull that off. The wine pairings were really interesting, they worked perfectly with the food, again really well thought out and complimentary with every course. The staff were fantastic, and so knowledgable about the wine, we had some wonderful conversation around it. Some of my friends don't eat certain ingredients normally, but ate the lot served to them so that was again testament to the team. Every member of staff was diligent, friendly and happy. It was a wonderful experience, thank you for making it so fun and memorable.

Lawrence Pinner: Absolutely unreal, some of the best food we've ever had, accommodating to fussy kids and service, along with the food, second to none!Kid-friendliness: We have some fussy kids, all, requests were accommodated with no issue whatsoever, waiting staff and chefs were excellent

felicity tucker: Had a really good meal here. Steak was really good. We had a sharing chateaubriand so came with 2 sides and 2 sauces. Cabbage on the coals really tasty and portobello mushrooms good aswell. We ordered extra truffle chips...lovely....my only disappointment was the sauces...blue cheese was very weak in flavour and the chimichirri also bland. We had pork belly and crab to start..also nice. All in all quite expensive but you pay for what you get nowadays

E Stevens: Lovely food and great atmosphere, more on the expensive side but the staff have lots of knowledge and the food is delicious

James Thorne: 10/10. Loved every moment of our visit. The starters were knock out, the croquettes are one of their signature dishes and a must, but the carpaccio was insanely good. For mains we had a tomahawk and chateaubriand to share. The beef was cooked perfectly and the meat was full of flavour. It was refreshing to see local beef as the focus, no Wagyu or Galician ex-dairy in site. The sides... holy moly! Crispy brussel sprouts with XO sauce and cashew cream, Cabbage cook on coals with bacon butter, Thai Som Tam slaw, Baked potato with cornish Gouda and chive creme fraiche. We could have feasted for days! Is this the best restaurant in Bristol?

Siobhan Ryan: Food absolutely beautiful as always! Best dessert I’ve had in a long time! Staff super helpful and friendly and just all round welcoming! Best restaurant in Bristol! Thank youDietary restrictions: Fabulous for gluten free!

Aqua Welshback: what do users think?

Udoka Dumebi: The finest part about celebrating my birthday at Aqua with my husband and two young babies was, without a doubt, the outstanding service I received. Justina welcomed me and took the time to make us all feel at ease while being incredibly attentive to all of us. I'm not exaggerating when I say that she deserves a raise for the level of care she provided.Plus, the food was delicious; I loved every bite, but my favourites were the seafood linguine, my husband's steak, which was so delicious, and the fantastic cocktail. The portions were generous, too. Later on, Gabby took care of us; she was fantastic. Then, as they brought my dessert, they both sang a song to me. I will be recommending Aqua to everyone I know for any kind of celebration because it was a fantastic day for me.Thank you so much for the superb service, Justina and Gabby. You two are absolutely amazing.Kid-friendliness: I had two children, both under three years old, and I went in with my double pram. As soon as we arrived at the restaurant, they were offered pencils and colouring paper. The baby slept virtually the entire time, but my other child ate well and then dozed off in the restaurant. We went there on a Wednesday night, and it's fantastic for kids.

NICOLA THWAITE: Well, I had my first ever bottomless brunch on Saturday and it was absolutely FANTASTIC!Our server Justina was so lovely, informative and attentive. The drinks didn't stop flowing and the food was delicious! I had the vegan breakfast, it was very tasty. There was a lively atmosphere in the place despite it being thoroughly wet and miserable outside. We will definitely be back again some time.

Under the Stars: what do users think?

Giulia Falvo: Excellent place in the center for an aperitif or dinnerGood tapas. Service ok. Advised

Indra dos Santos Martinez: Always lovely experience here, if you want to order food then I would pre book to make sure you get a table inside. But if you want lovely views, great service and delicious food I would recommend this place. And because it’s on Harbourside there are plenty more places to go if you want to have a try other places too. I have been here multiple times and never been disappointed. The toilets are very easy to find, just keep going straight after the main bar. The staff is. Wry friendly and helpful and if you are looking for un-alcoholic beer they have it too.

Chloe Bennett: Best restaurant in Bristol, amazing location, the best food and friendliest staff! A must visit

Susanna Amiel: A gem of a place. We came to celebrate my daughter's birthday and everything was perfect from start to finish. It's quite rare to go out and find food that everyone enjoys this much, kids included. The banana margarita cocktail was amazing, try it if it's on the menu! Staff were lovely and it's a beautiful candlelit interior. Highly recommend.

The Ivy Clifton Brasserie: what do users think?

Adam Raw: The food was good, well presented but nothing to get overly excited about. It was late at night and the place was slowly emptying so the atmosphere was quieter than normal. The service from everyone we dealt with was really top notch. Very friendly, attentive but not intrusive and above all helpful.I would go again for the surroundings and staff.

TGM DESIGN: Very nice meal, staff and food were too notch. This is my 3rd visit and will most definitely not be my last. The beef tartare is to die for and the eggs Benedict is a close second. I had the chicken Milanese but that’s quite filling. The zucchini fritters are pretty good, make sure to ask for them crispy.Lovely atmosphere , always busy so best to book too.Thank you ivy Clifton see you soon.

Gabriela Croitoru: Beautiful experienceWe came in quite late on a Saturday with our little one, the staff were so amazing, they had organised us our own little table away from the busy side of the restaurant. It meant a lot to us because our little one felt more comfortable and at ease during our dinner. The food was absolutely delicious, served and presented beautifully by the lovely staff! They made us feel comfortable and relaxed! Thank you for a wonderful evening!
