Knight's folly: what do users think?

John Whittock: Lovely campsite. Easy access to Bristol or Bath on the cycle path

Chris Reed: Staying here for 2 nights, camping. The owners stayed late to welcome us as we were caught in traffic - but still greeted us with a very friendly welcome. The grounds are very well maintained. Facilities are clean and modern. Good water pressure/temperature. Nice and quiet overnight, although a few cows were mooing in the morning!

Andrea Mountford: A very well kept campsite with immaculate facilities and friendly owners. Ideally placed to visit Bristol and Bath using the cycle track. 10 minute cycle ride to the local station if you want quick access to these towns. Great breakfast at the garden centre next door. What's not to like?

Graddy 61: Nice Caravan and camping club small CS site on the main road between Bristol and Bath. Freindly welcome from the owners, reasonably priced, good shower and toilet block, slightly sloping site with a mix or hardstanding and grass pitches. They also have a sloping camping field and a separate level overflow field. Could do with a grey water drain in the main field.

Leah Tardivel: A really lovely site. We booked one night last minute and they were helpful in the phone and very friendly when we arrived. Pitches are well spaced, the toilet and showers and clean, modern and work well. It's nice and quiet, easy to access. Very much appreciated.

Kevin Longman: Very clean site and well ran friendly family site .

Lewis Chalk: We had a lovely visit and the surrounding areas were fantastic to visit. The running route within a few hundred metres was a treat too!Julie and Victor were very friendly and so accommodating. I also want to say that the facilities were excellently maintained. Thank you so much again Julie and Victor - you made things very simple for us and I really appreciate your help 🙏Restrooms: Very clean

Lukas Spirig: Would come again, but then longer. Perfect for exploring Bath and Bristol.

Mariska Bez: to catch a bus directly into Bristol, which we did. It didn’t take too long, about 40 mins through the lively suburbs. Pitches are well spaced. We had a great time staying here and will happily stay again and recommend

Boyd Black: What a charming site. First impressions definitely do count, and from our arrival, the hosts, Julie and her partner couldn't have been more helpful. The location is a perfect base to explore Somerset, Bath and Bristol as well as having some lovely traditional English pubs nearby. Look forward to returning to this lovely site.

Jan Crabtree: Very friendly, lots of space

Phil H: Nice smaller site good facilities and ideally placed for travel both to Bath and Bristol on the buses and the railway path

Amélie de Jong: and Knights Folly was the one place we decided to stay three nights because we felt welcome from the first second.Julie and Victor are an unbelievably friendly couple with their little dog lilly. The bathrooms are very clean and Julie makes sure it stays that way. Every morning we saw her doing some cleaning around the campsite.Victor asked about our plans and gave great advice. They are after all locals and know their way around. There’s electricity, hot showers

Geoff P: Lovely well kept CL, showers and toilets exceptionally clean. Bus stop round the corner, cycle way fully tarmacd to Bath or Bristol and Avon railway 10 mins walk. Well worth a visit.

Liz Evans: Came last minute was very grateful to have a pitch. Very clean and well kept. Walking distance to shop and pub. Only 2 showers in the ladies so short wait but would definitely go back

Katrin Heimanm: We started our southern England holiday on this small, very nice campsite. Booking by email worked great, the boss was very nice when we arrived and the location is perfect for exploring Bristol and Bath by e-bike... the cycle path on the old railway embankment is just great. Thank you again for the nice service... we can highly recommend a stay here...We started our holiday in southern England on this small, very fine campsite. Camp Baboon: what do users think?

Tensile Crescent: I never done the camp side of things. But I did do the animals side and it was good. In away with all that's going on and now they had to shut for the 3 time now. I did feel sad as I felt where they put things in place because of Covid your round in minutes tho. But looking to the future when they become one hole zoo from Bristol zoo joining them it will be good so exciting and wait for when they do that for 2024. It will be massive and good all round

Martin Blewett: Great fun!

Geoff Parsons: Great place

David Bennett: Amazing experience and all the staff work so hard to create a fun atmosphere. One tip though in winter it can get quite cold having diner.

Amanda James: We stayed at camp baboon as a family for my sons 13th birthday. My two teenage boys really loved the experience, Bush craft was a real hit.The hosts were very nice, attentive and informative. The evening and morning tours were great and we even got to feed some animals their breakfast. The evening meal was a perfect portion, breakfast was nice but the only thing I would change was the size of the bacon roll. All in all, though, was an amazing experience for all the family!

Charlotte Billen: really enjoyed the Bush craft activities/mashmallows over the fire. We were lucky enough to feed some of the animals in the morning and were also lucky enough to be the only ones staying on site.Cabins are comfy and definitely suitable for a one night stay, the shower is amazing! Finally, a ticket to Bristol zoo is included but suggests it has to be used the following day on the website but on arrival we found out it's actually valid for a year.

Melody Scudder: Amazing experience!! The glamping pods were actual really comfy. Ours consisted of a bunk bed which easily accommodated two fully grown adults and then a double sized bed. All the beds and bedding were clean and comfortable to sleep in.The living space inside was small but what's to be expected of a pod? We could all sit inside easily enough with our luggage etc and not feel cramped. And the bathroom was lush! Amazing shower! Cute decking area outside that sat 7 of us easily. The activities were fun and then the evening and morning tours of the animals were thoroughly informative and nice as the park wasn't yet open to the rest of the public so you weren't fighting to see the animals etc.The dinner and breakfast offered were varied and fresh.Couldn't flaw the experience tbh.

rebecca sadler: Stayed here with two children aged 10 and 8. We were spoiled as we were the only guests. The staff were knowledgeable and enthusiastic. The bush crafts were really fun and engaging. The highlights for us were the tours around the park outside opening hours. We were really lucky seeing the animals in the peace and quiet. The kids loved it. Definitely recommend.
