kelly mccosh: I had Breast Implant Revision" procedure at the Yorkshire Clinic performed by Prof Mahajan,My surgery was I February following a good and in depth consultation, where I was given lots of opportunity to discuss what I wanted and how the procedure would be performed.My surgery went well and all the staff were friendly, helpful and on hand to help me throughout.Following the surgery I stayed overnight at the hospital, I recommend this option as I felt at ease knowing the staff were on hand should I have needed them, on return home I was given aftercare and medicine to help my first week at home.I only used the pain medicine for 2 days as I actually felt I didn’t need it, obviously things were sore and tender but genuinely not painful.I have now had 3 follow up appointments with Prof Mahajan and each one has been great and given me good advice and care, I am now 3 months post surgery and I am so happy with my results, I am using a good quality moisturiser on my scars and to be honest they are barely visible, my shape is exactly what I hoped for and to his credit exactly what Prof Mahajan said they would be, obviously a revision procedure has it’s limits to achieving your expectations but these were all discussed with me at length before, during and after my procedure, I am so happy and feel I made the right decision with help to have the best possible options for my procedure and my results mirror my expectations to the letter. I would definitely recommend Prof Mahajan and the Yorkshire Clinic for anyone looking to undertake breast surgery.

Tan'Nia Hoyte: *Long/detailed review*(I'd spoke to 2 companies prior to Mya.)I had my initial telephone consultation with a woman called Ella who honestly brought me to tears with her kind and respectful approach. I then had a video call where they made it very clear I would not be asked to show my breasts (every other company I had online video calls with had insisted I showed them what they would be working with).The next step was to go meet a surgeon in person (who was always chaperoned by a nurse).This is when I first met Dr S Mahdi.He was polite, professional, quirky and really down to earth. I felt like I'd known him for a long time. He was straight talking but also kind and caring. He listened to my concerns and gave me lots of solutions and his personal recommendation.After been examined and measured up, Dr Mahdi drew pictures for me to see exactly where any incisions would be made in the 'worst case scenario' and showed me 3 recommended sizes suitable for my frame and individual case.I went home and really thought about my decision before contacting Mya to go ahead and book my surgery.They gave me access to something called the Mya Patient Portal which is really easy to navigate. I had access to all paper work I had signed, all Dr Mahdi's drawings and advice, live chat with staff, payment plans etc.I spoke to someone regularly about how I was feeling. A couple of weeks pre op I spoke to a nurse named Donna who was just lovely! She advised me about everything I needed to be doing in preparation. From clothing to diet advice. I spoke to Donna again a few days prior to the op.Surgery DayI arrived to smiling happy staff (which i needed as i was very thirsty and hangry from my 6 hour pre op fast) at First Trust Hospital in Preston and was showed to my room which was really lovely. I was to do routine covid and pregnancy tests, then was given my surgery robe/underwear/compression tights and given an hour or so to settle into my room.Dr Mahdi came in smiley and happy spirited which immediately put me at ease. Accompanied by his chaperone he measured me up again and drew all his plans onto my chest. He was explaining everything and answering all my questions as he went. I expressed my fear of being put to sleep as it was a first for me and Dr Mahdi passed my concerns on to the Anesthetist.I was then walked through to theatre at around 3:45pm and asked to lay down on the operating table. This was when I began shaking and the nerves really kicked in. My Anesthetist and a nurse were right next to me explaining what was happening as the fit my cannula and that they were there to monitor me throughout the whole process. They were speaking to me about my career and I don't remember when I fell asleep, there was no counting down or trying to stay awake I was simply awake one second and asleep the next.What felt like seconds later I came round and a nurse placed a straw in my mouth and asked me to drink some water which was really lovely after what felt like forever without a drink.They were speaking to me about how well the surgery went and how Dr Mahdi was really happy with the results. I eventually opened my eyes and fully came round to call my partner at around 7:45pmThe nurses were really attentive and brought me some food and a can of coke. I felt really good. No pain or uncertainties whatsoever.I slept until around 4am (I was checked on every 2) then started to feel the achey pain kick in so pressed the buzzer for some pain medication.I spoke to a very chirpy Dr Mahdi in the morning who made me smile as he explained he had only made minimum incisions needed for my particular augmentation and mastopexy and to explain the need of the breast band etc.I was picked up by my partner at 10am after being given instructions on all my antibiotics and pain medication.I am now on day 3 post op and feel absolutely great. Achey and tender but nothing that isn't manageable.I cannot fault a single part of my process with Mya as a whole or Dr Mahdi and would highly recommend.
