John Pollington: I would not recommend placing any orders with this company, until you find out if they have the item in stock. I placed my order in good faith and paid my order in full and then received an email stating that they have no stock! So, I cancelled my order and now after waiting over a week for a refund. I emailed customer services as the promised day for a refund was over two days late and the instant reply from them was, the customer services will be in touch in three days time.
Pamela Wayte: After a month of trying to get a faulty scooter sorted, I have now given up and am asking for a full refund of scooter plus £31 phone charges incurred in trying to contact dronesdirect.I purchased the Ducati scooter for my son last year as a Christmas present- as the weather is only just warming it’s only recently he has been able to use. Sadly the scooter only charges to half.After many attempts to get hold of the company I then manage to speak and they want confirmation of the battery being removable, I’m no electrician but unscrew scooter and find battery - so tell them yes (on several occasions) a battery is duly dispatched. The battery arrives and doesn’t fit scooter, get hold of them again and now the scooter has to be sent back. Duly package the scooter and return, 10 days later with no news, (after contacting customer services 3 days previously to be told I would hear in 24 hours!) I contacted again and finally received a text saying it was faulty and beyond economical repair. OK so I now look on there site another brand of scooter on offer at same price as I paid, great I thought messaged them to have that - via text, email and account (now learning phone to be exorbitant £31.00!!!! For approx 3 calls under 1 hour)Various emails and text come back telling me my order out of stock showing pictures of faulty scooter, I go back to site and see the replacement is in fact still in stock - reply again sending picture and link and quick find number. Receive numerous texts and emails telling me selling team will contact me in next 24 hours, ( lol!!!! Yeah right) 3 days later still nothing and replacement scooter now back up to original price!)Well I’m done forwarding all info on to trading standards - and will take to small claims court to get refund of scooter and phone calls - not to mention a heart broken child who has waited patiently since Christmas to use an electric scooter that all his family chipped in to get.This is my experience of the company- I would AVOID

Jordan Mather: Bought an electric scooter for my son for Christmas. Opened it Christmas Eve to get it built for the morning and there was no wheel for the scooter in the box. Was emailed and told they would refund me £15 compensation and someone would be in touch about the missing wheel. I chased it yesterday to then be told I wouldn’t be getting the wheel sent out as the £15 refund was for me to get one elsewhere. On the emails sent back and forth it was never stated that I wouldn’t end up recieving the wheel. So now I have a scooter with no front wheel and now have to go out of my way to find somewhere that will sell one. Very bad customer service.

Grace Onwuka: Order a scooter that was supposed to come with a bag. It did not, nor did they inform me the bag would be missing out of courtesy. I realised it was missing and asked about it to be told they are out of stock. That's not my issue. I asked if they would give me some of my money back so I can purchase one to arrive the following day as I need it asap to keep the scooter in my boot- to then be told they are shipping one to me I should receive on the 12th of December. Today is the 22nd and I have not received a thing. Will never do business with this company again. You cannot deliver only part of the goods a person has paid for and think this is okay. Very unprofessional.

One day before delivery due date i received a phone call from a very unprofessional member of staff asking me security question such as who else live in my house. That's not even relevant to my order its more like intruding into someone private life! i had to send my driving license as proof of confirmation that i am the genuine person who ordered the item. what a horrible experience!! Never again i would rather just order from amazon or Argos next time!!

J M: Bought 2 electriq scooters from drones direct, only months old and rear mudguard has snapped off one of them which is a manufacturing fault, contacted them about getting it sorted and offered to fix myself to save the company courier fees if they supplied the part, only to be told it will cost me £50 for them to fix their fault, then they reduced repair fee to £25 after I said I was going legal, so I sourced a part on ebay new for £7.50, and told them I would buy and fix myself and told them to stop sending me emails of their promotions they have put £10 in to my PayPal to stop me leaving a bad review, my advice is to pay extra from a reputable store closer to you that will honour their guarantee and avoid drones direct like it was coronavirus, happy to take your money but don't want anything to do with damages when they ocur, wish I had went to argos and paid extra £50, Drones direct will also put their prices up daily if loads of interest on any item, obviously buying cheap stuff from China possibly slight seconds which is why they won't hour guarantee, paid me £10 compensation for a part they wanted to charge me £50, this speaks for itself, avoid avoid avoid.

Never commenting on negative feedback, aftercare is shocking after using my drone once a small drive cog fell off i know the warranty had expired so i contacted Drones direct to purchase a cog, after numerous e-mails and promised phone calls which i never received they will not help me fix my drone for such a small part i now have a drone i cant use,Be warned if purchasing from them.
Michael Hudson: Do not buy batteries from this company - despite UN regulations, they don't seem to understand that no courier will carry LiPo batteries on their own - so you will be unable to return them if they are either incorrect or you have issues (as you will see some people do). Despite providing the webpage of every courier they recommended stating they wouldn't carry the batteries alone, Drones Direct customer service showed zero interest in helping me resolve it. I eventually had to drive them myself to their return address - utterly mad. Avoid at all costs.

Rhys NG: Bought a e scooter broke in a month, they arranged a collection and nobody showed up, arranged another collection and somebody showed up the day before to collect it. Now they say nobody has collected it, waste of money. This whole process has been about 3 months since the scooter broke.

They wanted to refund 20GBP if i kept the product.Product was delivered 3 days before the selected date of delivery and nobody was at home. Parcel was left outside the door.Return of drone was apparently booked with dpd and they never got in touch with me. I cannot contact them. Better buy your products from other websites

Eisa 23: Went to smyths toy store today in Bradford on canal road with my daughter as she likes shopping there for her toys as soon as we walked in the security guard made us feel very uncomfortable every isle we went to check for toys we was getting followed and peeped at I personally think no human being or customer if you want to call it should feel uncomfortable once we got to the counter I explained my experience to a staff member she wasn’t very helpful or professional she turned around and goes ‘’ that’s what he has been told to do so out off every other 100 customer I was the one that got followed peeped at in every isle and felt uncomfortable then she goes I will pass your feed back to the manager ’’ every staff member in there is soo miserable like they getting forced to come to work they have no customer service experience or how to deal with a complaint won’t be going back in this store very rude staff with attitude appalling for such a store to have staff members like this it just takes one bad person or bad experience for a customer to stop going won’t be coming here again

After spending ages and her finally deciding what to buy, we get to the counter to pay and the lady said it was a lot more than the price listed on the shelf. When we went back to check & the boxes were all stacked in the wrong places and prices incorrect.After returning the items to the shelf my daughter chose some different items and again the prices were incorrect. The member of staff I mentioned this to moved some of the boxes to the correct place. This isn't simply customers putting stuff down wrong as there are loads of boxes behind the ones on display. Some of the items also incorrectly priced are high that require a ladder to access.Was trying to teach my daughter about money today but that was hopeless:Daddy is this one £10?No its £29But the label underneath it says £10?I know, but staff have put all the toys in the wrong placesAfter finally getting items within her budget we went to pay, I said hello to the lady on the till and didn't get a smile or response. I mentioned that all the items appear to be priced / on wrong shelfs in the shop and she just ignored me and didnt say anything. I asked my daughter to hand the money over to the lady and teaching about transactions and there was no response. I said bye and again no response. She was chatting to her colleagues before I came so isn't deaf dumb or blind, just extremely rude.Appalling customer service and organisation of product placement in this store. Next time will stick to Amazon

Moonyoung Heo: My family is a regular customer of Bradford Broadway store and we visited the store for toy shopping today and there was a small play area for kids to experience ‘Sandsational’ products. My two daughters enjoyed playing with the product and they had a great interest in the product and came back to play a little bit more before purchasing it. All of sudden, a lady called Tracy (another staff member said that she is a manager) came and forced my daughters to stop playing due to a long-playing time. I tried to ignore the situation and I did not complain straight away because my kids were listening but my kids were so disappointed and one of them cried. They played about 10 minutes total and there was no one waiting for the play and even there was no notice that no one could play more than 5 minutes. (CCTV can be evidence). I came back to the store to complain but she was not there due to her break.Two other staff members were so friendly and kind but it seems that Tracy does not care about how the kids feel. I am not sure why she treats kids like that but as a regular customer, this is what I feel and it ruined my family’s time today.I am so disappointed regarding her poor customer service.

Talamasca Dan: I have previously and this Christmas spent hundreds at The Entertainer in Bradford. Only when you have a problem do you find out how good a store is. We took back a clearly faulty toy after xmas and the service and policy was disgusting, made to feel like I was some kind of criminal by the male Supervisor the very second I said i had a faulty toy to return. I was made to wait over 30 minutes while they tested the toy which although i was patient about it and didnt mind as I was genuine, I dont know anywhere these days that does that unless perhaps you have a good reason to suspect the customer is false. Such an outdated way to treat customers who have option to shop online and have quick and efficient returns. Earlier that day we returned a faulty and an a unwanted toy gift to Smyths Bradford and the service was exceptional and professional and they apologized for the inconvenience of having to return a faulty product. At no point did anyone apologize at The Entertainer store. When a customer comes in with a clearly faulty product, apologize and dont make them stand around for half an hour while you charge and test a cheap toy! its really not worth that customer never coming back and losing a few hundred a year over a £14 toy!. I felt so annoyed I asked for the Manager who was polite and far more professional and was hindered only by the Entertainers outdated policies. I cannot recommend shopping here ever, when there is another great Toy Store in Bradford. I wont be returning again, ever.
Alexa Dibb: I love the entertainer as a shop and they are fantastic.... but the only downside to them is that they have the worst courier ever and need to get a new service somewhere else. Parcels don't ever come on time and when they do arrive they come damaged. I won't order anything online again. It's appalling. Get a new courier.

A very lovely woman (Rizwana) checked for me and they had 2 in stock! It took less than 5 minutes from talking to her to having purchased the laptop and she was brilliant.In short Aqib 1*, Rizwana 5* could have all been fine if he could be bothered to check stock but he clearly didn’t want to talk to me

Did not hear from the store for 7 days.In that 7 day period I had tried to contact the store numerous times via the customer service team to check on whether the item could be collected, but the store would never answer the phone.Was finally contacted by the store on the seventh day after raising a complaint about there being no updates, and not being able to contact the store.Went to collect the item when I was told the item could be collected, to only be told the item has been just delivered and is stuck on a pallet and would need to come back in two days.After two visits to the store, numerous phone calls, and a 7 day wait, I was left with no option but to cancel the order.Do not waste your time going into this store.
