I'm a Dorset born singer songwriter, who's passionate about making music and its therapeutic benefits. I believe every individual is musical in some way and we don't need to read music or understand the theory behind it in order to be 'good' or to enjoy the benefits of it.

Musical Embers was born during the first lockdown when I recognised the need for music, creativity and personal development in people's lives and so the online beginner ukulele courses took off and the rest has evolved since then.

I am a respected musician and teacher within the community, having trained as a music workshop facilitator with Community Music London and a choir leader with Susie Ro and I have performed as a singer songwriter at over 40 different venues and festivals in the UK. I have experience of teaching adults and children and whole class ukulele lessons for Key Stage 2.

Music has brought much joy to my life and I feel called to share my skills and knowledge with others wishing to explore their musical creativity.

Meditation, breath work and light yoga stretches will also be incorporated into lessons.
