Sebastian Kasyna: Stayed one night and wouldnt stay again, hotel like from 18th century, wooden floor and walls you can hear everything, dirty, no air con, dust everywhere, good location despite busy street and clubs near by, WiFi is a rip off £7 for 24 for one device! Those days this is just bad. Breakfast for £7 if remember got white toast, jam, egg or beans, and cheapest tea or coffee, better to go to pret near by. Wouldnt stay there again.
Dom Gray: A threadbare hotel relying on its location and past reputation. I used to come here as a kid 20 years ago, and couldn't believe the low reviews I was seeing for this place as I remembered it fondly. I brought my family here for a couple of days and now I understand everything - neglect is the reason.All the furnishings and decorations are unchanged from when I used to come as a kid - but now it's scruffy and shabby from age. From the outside the place is crying out for a new coat of paint. The staff are trying their best, but you can tell they're running a skeleton crew - our room wasn't cleaned on one of the days we were here. Breakfast is now 100% self serve, which led to farcical scenes like staff clearing away guests' drinks whilst they're up getting food.You have to pay to use the swimming pool, even as a hotel guest. The parking is £25 a night (top tip: use Central car park across the road as it's only £5 night).Everything screams neglect from the owners. They're clearly not spending any money on the upkeep and improvement of the hotel, on the staff, on facilities, etc. They're relying heavily on the location to sell rooms. It's such a shame to see a fond childhood memory in this state.

Steven Owens: I accidentally broke a tiny mirror in the hotel room due to that mirror being placed poorly by whoever setup the room. The mirror wasn’t even placed on the stand! Just touching the table was enough for the mirror to fall and break. They made an unauthorized payment of £130 from my bank account. £130 for a small mirror. Even the young lady at the reception desk felt guilty telling me that! Just don’t touch the desks when you go to this hotel, or ask for a room without that tiny mirror.. Unbelievable. £130 for a mirror that looks like it's not worth £10.
SandJ Mowatt: Great little hotel! All the rooms have been refurbished to a high standard, excellent beds, good shower and towels, lovely and clean. Breakfasts delicious and good quality products.We stayed as a group of singers and were well looked after for rehearsal facilities and light lunch before our performance.Only 10 mins from the beach ⛱️ but near a busy roundabout so, when you have the windows open for fresh air, there is background noise. Bournemouth is VERY busy at 3.30am!!We'll be back when we compete again in 2025 so please use the hotel and keep it open! 😀

David Levy: We poked about a bit and feel it's the best option on the strip, certainly in this price range. We plan to stay here again next time we're in Bournemouth.Location is very central, walking range to train station, coffee shops, restaurants, beach. Room was small but pleasant and clean. Noise was acceptable. Staff was friendly and quite helpful.A few idiosyncrasies - the tiniest lift in the Western world (I swear), odd request to charge credit card up front for "incidentals" (???) and then refund later; but no deal breakers and lots of positives as noted above. Book with confidence.

Lily Mulzo: Staff unfriendly. Felt like an inconvenience. Room needs a refurb. Unclean room, Broken door, soap trays scaling, small bath, taps soaked bathroom when in use, not enough tea coffee milk etc, no water in room. Very hot on first floor, uncomfortable mattress, very hard. Leisure facilities dire. Stain on pool towels. No changing rooms, lockers didn’t work, not clean.

Mr T: Was ok, best part is location, close to everything, room was tiny for £130 a night, barely fit a double bed in, throwback from 70’s with the decor. Wi-Fi useless if you can get connected to it, overall for somewhere just to sleep it’s fine, just don’t expect the inside to be as impressive as the outside, it’s not really 4 star either, here that extra two stars came from? However it’s luxury compared to Russel court, don’t even bother to check there !!

Sadaf__ Design_: Our room was very beautiful with a view, but the ceiling of the bathroom was leaking, TV and heater didn’t work, The pool changing room was extremely dirty but the only thing I was satisfied with was the incredibly polite and friendly reception she’s name is ‘Laura’ she quickly sent someone to clean the bathroom, but they cleaned it with our own towels and we didn't have towels for the bathroom, but Laura brought the towel , Even though we didn’t book for breakfast, she gave us breakfast And the breakfast was awful, I just wrote this review to thank Laura , otherwise I don't accept this hotel at all and you better not waste your money.

shabir miah: Had the pleasure To stay at elstead for a work training course for a week, this place has everything you can want, swimming pool, sauna, steam room and gym. One this that stood out for me was the service I received from one particular member of staff named Annabelle, i eat halal food and I mentioned this to here at check in, she went out of her way to find a halal butcher to get my meals during my stay which i found so surprising that someone will go out of there way to make me feel so welcoming, during my stay Annabelle had one day off and she come to me and explained he had spoken to the staff and the other member of staff covering her shift how to prepare my food separately from the rest of the food and said to them if they are confused to ring her and she will explain during her rest day. 🤯🤯I have never met someone so nice and someone who loves to go out their way to help people. I will definitely be returning to stay again just for this reason alone.Thanks for an amazing stay and see you guys soon!
