Calvin Blandford: I have just returned today from a week's holiday at this hotel, absolutely fantastic 100 per cent recommend with just go holidaysRooms: I was very fortunate my twin room on the ground floor was excellent but I understand that some of the single rooms are quite small. The hotel and rooms were extremely clean although dated but bearing in mind its only a basic but delightful hotelNearby activities: Although Bournemouth is very hilly it's about 10 minutes to sea front travelling down and up zig zag path in a certain place. This is very steep and unless you are used to walking I personally wouldn't recommend the slopes coming back up, as a person with walking disabilities it's not recommend. If you have an electric wheelchair or scooter it's possible but quite tight and very steep so be aware for the seafront the front itself looked good from east end top view but I personally didn't use it. A lovely park is walkable distance with plenty of seats if required but bear in mind there is a slope down but mainly lots of very steep steps back up.The shopping area I went to was pedestrian all up quite a steep hill but had some delightful smaller shops as well as the main ones. There are various activity places I noticed and a large library. Be aware is you have problems with walking take your time and note that some shops do not have disabled access . There are serval parks which I understand are beautiful and well cared for. Not sure about the loos but most larger stores have themSafety: All the staff are safety conscience and always willing to assistWalkability: If you are able body it's reasonable but if you have disabilities it's good flat inside on ground floor. With two lifts going to higher levelsFood & drinks: The food in this hotel was excellent, self service helpful staffNoteworthy details: Clean ,tidy, but needs updating best word of mouth

Winnie Jay: We booked the hotel directly with them,we had a family room with one bed double and two singles as we are 2 adults and 2 kids,we checked in after 4 pm,the room was nice and clean,really spacious, it was better than expected, no nice views but didn't bother us,the only "bad" thing about the room, that it was quite hot,but they gave us an extra fan ,we had 2 fans ,it was alrightThe hotel looks like it needs some investments on changing carpets on the halls etcWe had free parking just outside the hotelIs like 15 min walk from the hotel to the nearest beachLike 15 min walk to bus stops,take ways shops etcWe come to Bournemouth for a family holiday in a budget for our first time thereThe hotel is not that bad as the reviews saysIf you are looking for a hotel so you can spend the day indoors its not for youWe went at the beach and we visited and explored everything and we just slept and had showersIts dog friendlyThey do breakfast buffetThey have outside seating area
