Zahida demetri: My husband booked this online for me and our daughter. My husband had called the hotel the day before to pay as he was using his card. Upon arrival I was told it needed paying, I informed the receptionist that I would call him. I rang him and whilst the call was in loud speaker the receptionist was ver rude about the payment. Infact she said that I could leave.The room was disgusting. The chest if drawers had a draw missing, the mattress was springy, the room smelt of damp, mould in the bathroom, the bath was green, mould on the floor, brown marks of the shower curtain, no soap, no hand towel, one towel between two. The curtains had holes in them, chain in the door was missing made me feel unsafe, lights not working. After advising the receptionist I wanted another room she informed me that they were fully booked. So I decided to check out. Infact another two guests weren't happy and checking out, & a couple we'd seen earlier checked into the Langtray Manor up the road as well.Worst place I've ever been in and I've stayed in hotels all over.There customer service is none existent. I've never had any hotel member of staff talk down to me like they have here.My advice is to avoid this place.

Naresh Patel: the room was a sauna, on a bright hot day, asked for help fobbed off lied to, im an engineer,the room was roasting as the heating was on, no control on radiators all broken off, my dog suffered, we suffered for the few hours we slept there, id say 2stars pushing it, smelt drugs in corridor, noise from room above during the night, very poor customer service, reception staff, what can i say! hit and miss, pot luck, ok you get what you pay for, i aint fussy, but the heat was too much!!, no assistance so please don't patronise me with a response, defo management issue, good size room we had, maintenance issues are huge, this place loves to waste energy, room cards did not work well, staff need to be attentive, at least be understanding, than regimental due to management culture, concierge was a pain in the backside.

Sebastian Kasyna: Stayed one night and wouldnt stay again, hotel like from 18th century, wooden floor and walls you can hear everything, dirty, no air con, dust everywhere, good location despite busy street and clubs near by, WiFi is a rip off £7 for 24 for one device! Those days this is just bad. Breakfast for £7 if remember got white toast, jam, egg or beans, and cheapest tea or coffee, better to go to pret near by. Wouldnt stay there again.
Saqib Hussain: Rooms are filthy floorboards creek, you can hear next door room walking on creaky floor and their TV. You can hear people walking in corridor and it all sounds like it's in your room. Dust everywhere, no phones in room or fridges. However kettle, iron & fan found in cupboard. Also covered in dust. Wood on doors is rotting. Needs a heavy renovation...Rooms have never been dusted the room we went to smelt like it has it been used in months,Hotel is HUGE, front staff lady is very nice and helpful. They should show you your room its a maze.Breakfast was okay, limited selection, limited tea, juice machine says apple and orange but filled with water. Apparently because it was leaking but they still filled it with water. Chef & head waiter on breakfast is decent. Also found it strangely, I guess dog friendly hotel guy was walking around with huge dog off leash!Spend around 1 million and this place could be nice!Rooms: Lots of rooms but all filthySafety: Not child safe with big dogs off leashWalkability: Near beach pierFood & drinks: Bar and restaurant on site
