I got a last minute call from a friend traveling back home, ran to DSW to grab some pairs of shoes for my kids, the search took Long coz I didn't know the aisles. When I got the cashier, their associates rudely told me to take back the shoes and get out of the store coz they had closed!!! Had worked in stores before and we always allow customers who are already in the store during closing time to check out. I will never return to their store even on normal hours.

Caely Clifford: Customer service is amazing however last year I got two left shoes and this year my ordered arrived with 2 different shoes neither of which were what I had ordered and the box didn't match. I called and they fixed it easily. In person is good service. I would not recommend ordering online.

Davilson Santos: Had a foot locker store coupon for $15.00, which does not say that I can not use on new released shoes. When I tried to use the coupon on a two day old shoes I was informed by the manager that I could not use it and when I asked him to show me where does it say on the coupon that I could not use it on new released shoes he told me it doesn't matter cause I can not use it cause he is saying so (in a rude manner). If I could I would give them zero star.

Turned out only applied to a very limited number of shoes not the ones I normally purchase. Employee told me there were too many limits to list them all and was not exactly sure which ones. I have been buying New balance athletic shoes there for years but prices have gone from $35 to $79 for them over time. I did not purchase there this time and was fairly annoyed at the coupon come-on. They often have sent a $5 off coupon which I've never had an issue using. New balance store at Amazon had the same exact same shoes for $50 same day delivery vs $79 at DSW. DSW won't be an automatic go to for me anymore.

RM Cerv: They no longer carry Nike but they do carry New Balance, Skechers and Ryka. They do not carry shoe laces.

It was frustrating to see how unknowledgeable they were about the company they all represent. It was absolutely unacceptable and unprofessional of their part to not go above and beyond for each and every client who even considers this company as an option.The manager did take into consideration locating the item after asking the front female cashier with pink nails. She asked if I had shopped with DSW before assuming I just hadn’t. As I observed her typing my phone number incorrectly I could tell it bothered her when I corrected her. As I clearly observed she was indeed typing my phone number incorrectly. It is very important to have listening skills. As she was retyping the phone number into the keyboard..she strongly pressed the keys with her index finger. I clearly saw she works to have her nails done professionally. If you are going to have your nails done I would suggest you learn how to move them as you carefully listen. She knows nothing about shoes working for DSW. The boots I am wearing are $300 Coach boots. Another tip is to learn how to be more observant to the shoes your clients come in wearing as it will tell you a lot about who you are dealing with. I am not saying this to undermine the quality of DSW as a company as I do think they have excellent options. One of the unknowledgeable team members insisted saying “we were closed”, very rudely. As he noticed I was persistent to locate the item I was in there for. Then the manager said it was closed. I said, I know..to both of them. Of course I know they are closed that’s why I took it upon myself to look to leave the premises as it was absolutely unpleasant. The manager was under the impression I had already purchased the item he took the time to find. I gave him a a strange look. As the unknowledgeable team member didn’t even mention the item he was holding was for me. That’s another strike - LACK OF COMMUNICATION! It is very important when conducting business. I have to say if you took the time to read this. I highly suggest you think twice before stopping at this particular location. You have been warned about the pathetic service this store offers. As my plan was to visit the location in Boston.

Luisa Rabello: I had the most awful experience at this DSW location. I went to this location to return a pair of heels. Since I did not have a receipt, prior to going to the cash register I walked around the store to look for an even exchange. I found 2 bags and decided to get those in exchange for the shoes that I was returning. At the register, i explained my situation and the girl working the register said she had to get the manager to do the exchange. The manager, Irma Mujcin, was extremely rude and said she did not feel comfortable doing the exchange because she “saw me walking around the store going through stuff” implying that I was stealing. I told her to look at the cameras because she would see that I walked in with the shoes, but she just did the exchange and walked away. No apologies. This was so inappropriate and I felt extremely profiled and mistreated. The manager was so unprofessional and because of this, I will never be returning to this location again. Watch out when you go there, the manager might accuse you of stealing.

Mary Shannon: The store is fairly well organized, but poorly located. Parking is difficult, and getting to the entrance can be daunting with all the cars circling for spots. The customer service leaves a LOT to be desired. I was polite but clear that I had no interest in sharing my phone number, and simply wanted to be checked out (I was in a hurry). The sales associate insisted on asking me three times, and when I said (politely, but firmly) that I wasn't interested, she got quite an attitude. Perhaps someone in corporate has recommended this approach, but part of effective sales is to read the room, and this associate clearly didn't. Instead, she was snippy, and frankly rude after I made it clear I just. wanted. to. check. out. This isn't the resurrection; I don't need to deny you three times. I can't imagine I'd use that location again, as there are other (less aggressive) options in the same area.

Yesterday I bought toddlers sandals for $20 and sneakers for his chubby foots (it is so hard to find wide shoes for him!) and for myself orthopedic shoes (dr. Scholle). If you donate new or light used shoes, you will get a discount on your next purchase. There is a lot of shoes with a discount (-30%). Enjoy!
