Doris Herrera: This location has it all for the most part. I recently was planning a big birthday bash for a teenager and found just about everything I needed from this location. I wish I hadn't wasted time going to other locations. The prices are more comparable than they used to be which I can appreciate. Still pricey but not completely killing my pocket.Amazing balloon selection but be warned they are super busy. If you need balloons for a party, order them well in advance so they are ready when you need them.Staff is super friendly and helpful. They helped me find what I couldn't find even though they were swamped the day I came in. Party was a success and everyone complimented the color scheme decorations. Wish I took pictures but that's what happens when you host a party.

Engineer Chic: Really helpful staff and the store is SO organized it is easy to find things. I had about given up on PartyCity based on dealing with a store south of this one, but turns out I had just picked the wrong Party City. In Chelmsford they understand that you might be short on time and they really are super quick to open another register or tell you exactly where something is. Everything was clean, too, the way a store would look if corporate was coming. Go to this one, it's SO much better than the alternative closer to the mall.

maria mengel: I ordered balloons for an afterparty for my son's wedding. Since the website states that latex helium balloons will float for ~24 hours, I decided to have them delivered the morning of the party, which was scheduled for around 11PM. The balloons were delivered at around 11AM, as expected. The order was wrong, 2 of 1 and 1 of another that should have been the other way around but I figured, no biggie...let it go. The big disappointment came when we returned to our hotel after the reception to find 8 of the 12 helium balloons on the floor, totally lifeless! I won't go so far as to say it ruined the party, but it took a lot of the "oomph" out of the decor as I had pictured/planned for. BIG DISAPPOINTMENT and I would def think twice before ordering here again!!!

Janice Brigham: I went to store today to pick up an order for my grandkids birthday party. Four people in line, cashier struggling with a refund another person behind counter vacuuming with four customers waiting in line. I went down the aisle to get our order and got back on line. Employee, Yami, snapped at me that I could not get the order myself. Why?? Not like I was walking out the door with it I was standing in line. Eeexchanged unpleantries.When I went to counter with my order I told the associate helping me that I did not need to be spoken too in such a manner. I didn't just leave the store with the balloons. She said that is not the point. So I ask what the point is. She said we are not allowed to touch the orders. What? It was our order and it does not say anywhere in the store that I can not touch my order. I needed other balloons but refused to spend anymore of my money there. My daughter had called earlier in the morning to inquire about an item and she said they were unpleasant to her as well. there is only one employee in the store that has ever put forth outstanding customer service skills. Wish I could remember her name. I will not return. I will drive 10 miles beforei I give this store anymorw of my money .

Erin Shea: I went in to purchase some things for my classroom (little prizes) and I ended leaving with a squishmallow and one of those mystery micromallows. I purchased them and went out to my car to realize that the micromallow was stolen out of the container. I felt pretty dumb because the container was opened and I didn’t even realize it. I wouldn’t have had a problem with bringing it back but it was the employee that really irritated me. She stated that she felt the container and that it felt empty and proceeded to let me purchase the item. She could have told me it felt empty and checked to see if it was empty before letting me purchase the item. Therefore, I am giving this store a 2 star review. I usually don’t get petty about things but this really annoyed me.

Kristen: What a horrible experience! Especially when the balloons were for a memorial service.. I pre ordered $140 worth of balloons to be delivered to the service I had. And even called the day before to confirm and make sure everything was in order. Mind you I'm burying my brother... well not only were they not delivered to the service, she was 2 hours early from the time slot you have to pick. So she brought them to my apartment! 100 balloons now for me to find people to help make trips to the service. No body needs that, no matter what their for. What a headache to add to the sorrow. Will never use Party City again! And DO NOT RECOMMEND
Kortnie S: Yesterday 12/09/2021 I came in to the store after an OB appointment. I wanted to be surprised and do a mini gender reveal but had nobody but myself to plan it. I asked the woman working for help and expressed what I wanted. I wish I got her name she was wearing a blue shirt. She went above and beyond for me and helped put everything together so I could be surprised. This meant the world to me. You can tell she really values her job and actually puts care and effort in. So very happy with this experience and thankful. The world needs more people like her!

Amy Annunciata: Terrible customer service. We went in, two people working there looked at us and didn’t say a word. The supplies were bare. We waited in line for 15 minutes while a worker blew up a few balloons, one of the girls working saw us waiting a long time, took the drawer then left. No one acknowledged us the whole time we waited- not even a “be with you shortly”. When it was finally our turn I said hello to the cashier and she didn’t say a word back, made no eye contact and was seemingly annoyed that we were her second customer in the last half hour. Not sure if this store is closing and that is the reason for shortage of supplies but I could see why it would be closing! Someone should train their staff to be just a TAD friendly. Too bad this is the only party store in the area because if it wasn’t I would steer clear.

Simon Proekt: Avoid this place at all costs. Do not order online expecting the products to be delivered from this or picked up. If you love rude and incompetent employees then proceed. Otherwise choose anything else. Not only did they not fulfill the order for the party but they kept lying on the phone over and over. Talking to the management did not help at all. Calling their corporate headquarters didn't either. This is a terrible business and should be avoided
Maruxa Perez Viera: Jason was AMAZING. He really cares about customer satisfaction and will go out of his way to do everything in his power to accommodate your needs. The great service extends to the rest of the staff. John, the employee at the ballon filling station, had the biggest smile and great attitude and offered to fill my order even though it meant putting aside what he was currently doing. Highly recommend going to this location.

I also noticed that a lot of items were not in stock, the racks were empty. When it comes to the pricing, I would say it’s slightly higher than what we find in other stores. Staff is not that helpful, may be they are under staffed. Parking should not be an issue, they have ample space.

Jennifer Martin (Vino Travels): Poor customer service from the manager Alex M. Hung up on me after me sharing my experience today. No resolution she says than to drive back to them. My order was fulfilled incorrectly today. I took the day off to run errands and drove over 30 minutes each way to pick it up. They gave me an item I didn’t order that cost half the price and their resolution is to bring it back. I don’t have the time with my job and kids nor are they paying my gas to resolve the issue. They can ship to certain area codes but not mine. Really for your mistake?

Celeste Brooks: Twice I've placed orders for balloons here, and arrived late to our own party because of Party City's inability to fill orders within the timing expectations they set. Each time was an hour late, with the excuse that two people had called out that morning. They say you shouldn't pick up balloon orders the night before because the balloons won't last through the day. That gives me absolutely no option to have balloons in time for a kid's party. I'm done with ordering balloons from Party City. Next time I might try getting a helium tank or try the competing party store in Salem.PARTY CITY, you should bring staff in early in the morning to fill balloon orders and allow pickups starting at 8 am. This is your core business - get your act together.
