Kasandra Reyes: Horrible service , horrible atmosphere, disgusting food ! Not only did our drinks take 15 mins but our food took even longer just for it to be disgusting and disappointing. My daughter said her food tasted like poison. The server asked how the food was so I told her she wasn’t eating it and tasted like poison she still left it on the bill which I found shocking. A manager didn’t come over or anything . After paying over $70 we went home to cook cus we were still starving and thirsty cus even the drinks tasted bad . The patio looked very cute too bad I won’t be returning to find out . 0/10 recommend this place !

Don Dumont: I highly recommend J's and the their team. They hosted a birthday party dinner for us last weekend and it was perfect. The setup and service was very professional and well done. The menu was superb (I'm still receiving compliments from guests on how awesome the food was). The J's team was able to handle all of our requests including decorations, having the fire place going, and being very kid friendly, etc. Whether it's a night out for dinner or a private party, J's is a place you can trust to deliver a tremendous experience.

Firem00n Knits: Excellent service and the food and wine are always phenomenal. Their seasonal menu offerings are on point, with something for everyone. Our last visit, September 17th 2022, we chose to dine outdoors on the patio, though the interior of this restaurant is quite charming.
LEE H: Amazing service great tasting food
Sheyla Rosario: There is always something to discover within their menu. The staff goes above and beyond when it comes to service. Food is outstanding and the wine selection is spotless. Highly recommended.
Bill “Labgeek” Tschantz: Nice location, good food. Great for special occasions. Really good wines. Great variations. Enjoyed dinner very much.
Mary Dybka Diorio: Outdoor dining at its best!
James Doten: Private lunch party. Very hood overall.
Dee Hamp: Food was really good. The service was excellent. The wine that was suggested was good and I got a Cherry Brandy old fashion that was really smooth and exellent.Vegetarian options: They had 1 vegetarian option for main meals. More in appetizer section.Parking: They have a parking lot.
Sarah Diehl: The food was great! We were there for two days and tried many menu items, all were very good!
Laura N: Delicious! Started with short rib empanadas with a really tasty sauce. Had the fried monkfish which was perfectly crispy and had a creamy sauce. The lemon raspberry cake for dessert which was slightly tangy and just sweet enough. The blueberry wine was also very good. Fantastic service. The place feels classy without being over the top so it is a comfortable atmosphere. Came in the spring and I bet it's even more lovely in the summertime.

Lawrence Fleming: Nice
Kelley Small: 6 of us plus a two year old went to dinner on 4/14/19 to celebrate our daughters birthday. It took 1 ½ hours to get our meal- which was crazy. I had a salad- how difficult was that? It had the most bitter arugula I have ever eaten, the strawberries had been previously frozen as well as the shrimp which had no flavor and was still on the frozen side. The chicken picatta was on a bed of cold pasta with a vinaigrette which was not how it was described and it was terrible. The seafood fettuccine was also with frozen seafood and terrible. Asked for some rice or orzo for the two year old and received an orzo salad with vinaigrette. You get the picture. All in it was $500 - not a good use of money for a terrible dinner with the slowest turnaround from the kitchen and bar that we have experienced.
Paul Bastien: Great ambience and view. Good food and great service.
Rob V: Not a good buffet experience for brunch. Limited selection, and food was not warm. The buffet serving trays they have, have very poor heating technology. For $25 per person, it should be better. Pancake and omelet station was good though. Dessert pastries were all extremely dense and/or soggy. Avoid brunch buffet.
Joyce Terrio: Exceptional!
Carol Bajor: Lovely, great view
Margaret Forler: What a nice surprise. Lunch was in a quiet pleasant atmosphere. Server was attentive and friendly. We ordered the calamari, vey good, new England clam chowder, not a thick version. For meals, meatball grinder with sweet potato fries, very good. Chicken Caprese on foccaccia with pesto, good and tasty. The a salad, The Wedge, always a good choice. Your views are the greens of the golf course, just so peaceful and right now with the trees turning into their fall colors it was very pretty. Worth a trip to try a great meal.
Steve Huehmer: Worst service I’ve ever experienced at this price point.
James QP: Nice upscale setting with live music on a Friday. Service was great. Most of the food was only average for the price, but the butternut squash soup was phenomenal!
Charles Larrabee: Definitely will never be back. Food was just "ok" but at least it was expensive. Atmosphere is nice and the hostess was very nice especially with the way she dealt with the fact that she couldn't find our reservation. They have no idea how to make a martini ! How hard is that ??One star for the hostess and one star for the atmosphere.
S Carr: 9 girls went in for brunch buffet and it was okay. For the price we pay I'd expect a lot more food options but sadly there wasn't much to choose from. The food was less than warm and the eggs were very dry. The omelette station was good and the cinnamon buns were very good. The bloody Mary was delicious and they did not skimp on the vodka either. Atmosphere outside on the patio was gorgeous. Inside was a little chilly since it was hot day, no complaints there. Service was good. I give this place a 3 star just based on brunch menu. Would I go back?? Probably, but definitely not for brunch.
Kim Miller: Very nice place but the night we went there was live music... a singer ... she was so loud it ruined our experience....We couldn't even talk amongst ourselves.... probably won't be back
Lisa E: I liked almost everything about this restaurant at an early Sunday dinner. However, we did not get the focaccia bread after we were asked if we wanted it and we said yes. Also, the pork chop was very salty. Other than that though, it was all very good. Salmon, braised greens, veg, shrimp, grits, chocolate torte, wine list - all fantastic. Clearly this is a great find in Bolton off the beaten path. They recently revamped everything and introduced a new concept (according to our server) so we'll get back and try more. Don't try to park in front of the restaurant though. That's for golf carts only. Park in the lot on the other side of the street.
christopher shaddock: Romantic setting. I recommend this place to anyone.
J Zino: Great food great atmosphere!@!

Valeria Moreno: Portions are very small, it took ages to get our entrees and when we finally got them it was salty. The baked platter says 2 shrimp, 2 scallops, I only got one of each. Very dissatisfied with the time it took to get the food and the taste of it. The waiter did his his best, being the bar man, waiter and sometimes the hostess.Food: 2/5|Service: 1/5|Atmosphere: 3/5Recommended dishes Parking space Plenty of parking Parking options Free parking lot …More

Matthew J. Albert: I work in Marlborough, and this used to be one of the best dining options in the city. However, I’ve taken coworkers there twice over the past couple months and have been embarrassed to have chosen the dining location. The food is not good and the service is equally bad. Cocktails have never been great here, but they used to have a very good wine selection - no longer. it’s unfortunate, but this is an establishment I won’t return to
Lilly Cummings: The Shrimp and Octopus were horrible. Both tasted like some kind of chemical. Don’t waste your time and money going here.
Another mediocre dining experience. First they wanted to seat 6 grown men in a circular booth made for 4. We had to ask them to put some tables together. The service was slow, gruff and lacked the attentiveness you'd expect from a place where the server is getting a hefty tip due to the price of the food. You can easily spend over a hundred dollars per person. I got the octopus appetizer which had some grilled tentacles with some thousand islands like sauce on a bed of quinoa. The tentacles were cooked ok but the sauce was just the wrong thing for me. Others got the calamari which was greasy and extremely salty. Another got the crab cake that none of us liked. Another got clam chowder that didn't arrive until we got our entrées. I got the salmon. It was acceptable, but it was over salted and plain and they didn't have any options for spicing it up except for tobasco. Nothing fresh, nothing interesting, just a cheap bottle of tobasco. Several of my colleagues got the beef tips "medium" but they all complained that it was over cooked. The drinks were weak.Vegetarian options: The place is called Fish...Kid-friendliness: Sure, if you want to spend a lot of money for fried fishParking: Large shared parking lotWheelchair accessibility: Shouldn't be a problem
Amanda Rangel Santos: Have been wanting to go here for so long and was finally able to try out the happy hour for the $1 oysters. Found out there was a limit of 6 per person which should be disclosed on the website. We decided to try something else from the menu and we decided on the charcuterie board and all I can say is that it was a sad excuse for a charcuterie board. $22 is ridiculous for what it was, and it came with three pieces of half stale bread. I basically could have made something better at home with less than what they are charging. Completely ridiculous and for sure will not give this place a second chance. Extremely disappointed, I really had high hopes for this place.
Christopher Plata (Silver Monkey): Oysters too small, limited to 6.
joanna bandte: Such an awful dining experience at Fish last night. The service was slow, the rolls were hard as rocks, they ran out of sides and just gave us something else without asking first if it was OK, food was undercooked in some dishes and overcooked in others, and charged us more for food and drinks than what was listed on the menu. This was my first and last time there. Don’t waste your time or money.
Denise Arnold: Not sure what is happening at Fish, but if they're planning on closing, they should just close. Was shocked at the condition behind the bar. Dirty. Sorry to see this. Fish has been a downtown staple for years. It's a great location. Will be anxious to see what happens. Will miss Fish, but won't dine there again in their present condition.
Irene Aguero-Torres: Where have you been?!!! James is the best!!!Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Shannon: Came here for dinner last night for the first time with my husband & family for my birthday dinner. The waiter we had gave off a very defensive & rude vibe. My father in law expressed his dissatisfaction with his appetizer to the waiter, who then persisted on telling him that’s how it comes & there’s really nothing he can do about it. A while later we were greeted by whom I assume was the owner/manager on? He was in a cap, tee shirt & jeans, so unprofessional. He then apologized for my father in law’s dissatisfaction with his appetizer, made no effort at that point to try & comp the app that wasn’t good, but stated “ill try to take care of something else for you”, which actually never happened. I am absolutely aware of the current inflation happening & the issues with understaffing, but that is no excuse for the poor behavior of your wait staff & management towards customers. Needless to say we will not be coming back. Also @ fish restaurant, no need for a response with a ridiculous reason for our bad experience being our fault… Ive read your previous responses to reviews. I wish you the best in the future.
Mitchell Ambulos: I went here with my Family for my wife's Birthday and the experience was horrible. First of all the staff is unfriendly and the portion sizes were so small I couldn't believe it. They use bay scallops instead of ocean and charge you the same price. I get we are in a really bad inflation but thats no excuse for shrinking the size of the plate and over charging. Food is also really bland and Manager came over and said he would comp one of the meals and never did. Really unprofessional. Never going back.
Karen Moretti: My absolute favorite place. Food and service is always phenomenal
Dennis Shivo: I don't generally write reviews but felt compelled to this time. We have been to Fish many times and have always felt that they were a cut above. The last 2 time we went it was apparent the something has changed and the food and preparation were just not good. Sorry to say we're probably not going back.
Diana Hassa: Wonderful good and service
Ross Jackson: Doesn't keep hours due to their personal preference. Do not come here
