Noblett's Of North Street: what do users think?
Alan Barkley: Very grim and totally over priced
Adrianne Hardy: Couldn't recommend Noblett's enough! Absolutely thrilled with the wallpaper I ordered, beautiful and fab collection to choose from and expertly laid out, has all you need for your decorating needs along with very helpful ideas and advice.Tim, I am very grateful for all your help, appreciate all the trouble you went to for me, was a pleasure to deal with you. Will definitely be back ..Success that is well deserved, and it shows! Many thanks,Adrianne 🌻
Emily McWilliams: Embarrassingly poor customer serviceHave shopped in Noblett's for years with never a problem until this morning. No sooner had we went in the door, my mother and I were looking at wallpapers and had taken a sample (around 4 foot, enough to be able to see what it looked like on the wall) as we had done many times in the past without issue. My mother was about take another sample from a different roll when we were approached by a salesperson who took the roll of paper out of her and and told us we should to speak to a member of staff if we wanted a sample. He proceeded to passive-agressively advise that we were allowed 3 samples after that they would be 50p or a £1 each and insinuating it is because people were taking samples to fill gaps when they haven't got enough paper. He continued that it's also because you need to make sure you can see the pattern at which time he took the large sample we had and tore off a 1 ft piece which he gave back to us, whereby clearly contradicting his own reasoning.Furthermore, there were around 5-6 salespeople on the shop floor, a few of which were staring and hovering around us when we attempted to continue browsing. It was a hugely uncomfortable shopping experience which I ultimately vocalised to another member of staff before we left empty handed having spent less then 10 minutes in the shop.Advice to senior management: if this is how (what I suspect is) a supervisor behaves towards customers, I would be extremely concerned with the dynamic between your team itself. Management and customer service training would be recommended, particularly in relation to tone, delivery style and body language.Secondly, a better approach to sales would be to guide customers around some of the products which they are likely to buy, so you are not putting people off before they have even had a chance to look. For example, we attended today with all intentions of buying paint and paper, and would have likely spent within the £200 bracket (some of which could have been allocated to our "free" samples). Perhaps taking the customers intentions into consideration and asking them what they are looking for as opposed to reprimanding them for taking a sample would provide a more positive shopping experience.
Kim Barclay: Found the wallpaper we wanted from a vast variety of colours and designsAlan was a great help in helping us choose wallpaper and paintWould recommend 👍
Ian Bell: Poor Customer Service, rude staff and over priced.
Deirdre Walsh: I purchased wallpaper 2 weeks ago but my decorator thought it wasnt thick enough for our poor walls. All i wanted was a straight exchange but as i had lost my receipt the said they needed a QR code for it .I said i had my bank statement with the purchase details on it.I had spent £22.00 per roll so it wasnt cheap but no movement on it i will maybe loss £170.00 but they wouldnt move on it .Such awful customer care i will never be in that shop again i have bought paper there for over 30 years on a regular basis.I will never reccommend them to anyone.I just wish i had read comments on this before i purchased this paper i would have avoided them.
Helen Cowan: Got everything I needed and good advice on how to use it. Many thanks!
Raymond: Good spot for wallpaperStaff are friendly
Jackie Mccabe: Lost my receipt. Wanted a straight exchange no monetary difference at all. The girl most unhelpful. Glad I hadn't bought six rolls.
Laura Nixon: Lovely man helped us look for our paper as soon as we walked through the door. Very chatty and friendly. Gave us good advice. Didn't get his name but he was great
roy savage: Paper overpriced not as much to choose
val m: Best ever range of wallpapers! Very helpful staff
Kim Leitch: Terrible set out ,dull and drab just like it's customer service, Not recommended
Roberta Lynas: Use to be great, but does not so much of a choice now.
Reginald Montgomery: Best place in Ireland for wallpaper
C McK: Mix up with buying 13 rolls of wallpaper, when I brought it to their attention on social media, on day 28, within the reruns policy as stated on the receipt 1 month. The customer rep told me that it would need to be back in the shop with 28 days? On the receipt it stated 1 month? They refused to processed a refund which left me extremely disappointed. I would not recommend them to any of my network and will take my business elsewhere in the future!
Robert Smith: Nobletts has a good range of wallpaper and paint and the staff are really helpful. The only downside is that the upstairs room is no longer in use.
Leslie Black: Still one of the few stockists of everything you need for painting and decorating, no matter how obscure.
Martin Phillips: Best place in Belfast for anything to do with decorating. I've been a customer for 40 years and never had problem also the have plenty of bargains and great staff.
Colin K: Large range of good wallpaper and fair prices. Other decorating tools available
Davies M: Great shop! Brilliant selection, both in style and budget. Well organised throughout the shop (Sectioned by colours/tones). Staff are lovely, helpful and knowledgable.

B&M Home Store: what do users think?
Nando DG: Quite a busy store but normally find what I am looking for.I was there about an hour before closing so shelves were stocked and only one till was open, quite understandable as a store tries to minimize risk to many open tills close to closing, so don't expect many open tills when close to closing.Fair prices for what we purchased.
Ann Sudlow: I was in store today and just want to say how helpful Neil was. He went out of his way to get me an item from upstairs. I wasn’t able to get the item myself but Neil got it for me made sure it was the right product and he was just lovely. He is an asset to the store.
Stephen Dawson: Went into b&m connswater with my wife tonight 16 /5 /23. Went in for 2 items & came out with 10 as usual. We got the Mayflower curry. Best curry available for home cooking & only £1.19 a box.(does 3 meals). Store was packed to capacity & staff were friendly and helpful. Hopefully back soon. Stephen
Stephen Collim: Watch this store prices of item on shelf does not MATCH the price at the till spoke to manager he was ready for argument so read the label on item first 🤔 to the manage I'll say this 🙉🙉🙊
Terry Johnston: Great place to shop for household items 👏
Antaine (aolbfs): You can sometimes get a great bargain on home items and toiletries here.
Gary Boyd: Excellent service great choice of everything
andrea beatty: Very busy
Jenny: The best possible experience. They stock a lot of my favourite products.
Peter Morrison: Middle of the road stuff ranging from alarms to zips, with some oddball stuff that can be interesting. Friendly staff and lowish prices make a trip here worthwhile. An updated review is that things that are getting more difficult to find in supermarkets at a reasonable price can be found in B&M stores. Stuff that is disappearing off the shelves of the 'big' stores seems to have migrated here.
Charlene Crone: Great prices
Tony McCormack: Great store friendly staff and very good value
Dennis Cope: Very good, a wide variety of products on offer at competitive prices, the staff are extremely helpful.......
Roberta Lynas: Love this shop I use to for most home items always worth the money
Ritson Craig: Ok I just shop for tools
Ayu Sharma: Quite big store everything is available
Martin Phillips: Love this place always plenty of bargains to be had.
Alan Barkley: Very good one of the better b&m stores
Azariah Allen Prasad: Excellent staff.
Sharon Currie: Love this place
priyanka kanak: My fav home decor stop

Crown Decorating Centre - Belfast (EastSide): what do users think?
Pauline Hamilton: Staff very helpful & friendly .
Leonard Reid: Helpful friendly staff 👌
Jaroslaw Kromolowski: Good
Gina Pollock: Very helpful
Deborah Dunwoody: Friendly staff, very helpful plenty of choice
Terry Mckee: Good friendly and helpful staff
Rachel Mahood: Very helpful staff. Especially when I brought paint back to be darkened
james bradley: Very expensive for paint and equipment
Lesley Pilson: Very helpful I go back again.
Trevor Kelso: Didn't know what exactly I was looking for when I went into this shop. Explained what I intended to do and was guided through the whole process by the assistant. Two days later and seven doors complete.
Lesley Moore: What can I say. Not only is the paint exceptional but the service I received was right up there too. I had no idea trade and retail paint, that I had previously bought, were different but the guy (not sure of his name ... older guy, balding) took the time to explain to me. I REALLY can’t believe the difference in my walls and doors. So impressed all round, will definitely recommend to family and friends.
Edith Sparkes: Barked at by staff. Zero engagement with me on what I wanted or needed. Treated me like I was an inconvenience to them. Decided to leave without buying anything because they seemed to think it was a given I would give them money.
Alexander Hager: Awful customer service. The men who work here have no chat and couldn't be more unfriendly to the public. I asked for a crown colour which they mixed for me which was totally different to what was already on my walls. In addition, they sold me a Matt and a satin of the same colour that were completely different from eachother when I opened them. Went back and was told "you should have said this and should have done that" when I was in the store. Fobbed me off with a story that crown retail paint and trade paint are different colours (!?) And that oil based a d water based are also different colours. Refused to help me or try to match what I had on the walls (I'm sure not much to them at cost price) so instead here is a poor review that will cost them more than a new pot of paint. Dulux decoration center and B&Q were more professional and better customer service.
James Rainey: Good paint..
S E: Pros:- Prices are very good- Paint quality is very good- They can mix colours to match Farrow and Ball etc.- Fast turnaround timeCons:- They don't have the price on anything and are visibly irritated when you ask. I have been told that they don't know the price and that they will tell me at checkout / they are busy and don't have time to price check. They say they don't put the prices on because there are customer prices and trade prices and they don't want to show trade prices.... so just put on the customer price and tradesmen will know it's cheaper?- They don't like to be asked questions at all. During lockdown I was told on the phone that they couldn't answer my questions as they were too busy so to get off the phone unless I was putting an order in.- The first time they made my paint they used MacPherson and I was seriously impressed my the price and quality. I put in the same order in a second time and was confused by the higher price on collection. They told me that they had made it with Crown and only use MacPherson on request... although I didn't request it the first time. Like all cons - it's linked to the staff's poor communication skills.
Alex Guthrie: Counter
Mark Allison: Great products.
Paul Scott: Very helpful staff...
John Green: Prices not good customer service worse
Chris McDowell: As a professional Decorator, I have used this store for the majority of my paint orders since 2014.All staff and management go the extra mile. Fantastic customer service, great product range, competitive prices, and plenty of craic in-store!I order thousands of pounds of materials from Crown annually, and my customers are equally delighted with the finished product. Makes my job so much easier. Many thanks for all your superb work and support for my business.
