Hot Yoga Belfast: what do users think?

Natasha McNicholl: HYB is amazing after practicing hot yoga in Melbourne for years I moved home to Belfast and was delighted to discover HYB. I’d say it’s hotter than the studios over there 😂 really challenging classes and Daniel & Emily are fantastic instructors. Couldn’t recommend it enough!

D West: I loved discovering HYB on a trip to Belfast recently. It's a fantastic, large, infrared studio- a really nice space. The heat is the most intense I've experienced during the hot yoga so be prepared with plenty of water- the classes are not for the faint hearted! I was grateful for the complimentary fruit bowl and there is a water fountain, make sure you have a bottle. My favourite class was Julie's mobility class on Friday 10am- something really different but incredible for the body. I found it was excellent to get rid of any residual aches and pains in the body and replace it with pure blissful function- if I could do her class each week I'd be a ninja! Missing a star only because there is no reception, it's all done through an app- so for newbies it can be a little daunting to navigate checking into class/hiring a mat etc and there is no option of towels unless you buy one which as I was just a visitor was a little tricky. Still a fantastic studio that is evidently striving for the highest quality hot classes.

Gavin Cunningham: My first ever Yoga sessions have been at HYB and I love it! Daniel and Danielle in particular are fantastic instructors and the slow flow is perfect for beginners! Couldn't recommend enough!

Marie-anna Vischer: Wonderful Hot Yoga with super teachers

Stefan Merger: Wonderful place, you definitely don't freeze. The trainer on Monday at 10 a.m. was very friendly and interested in making sure everyone was doing well. Clean showers, nice crowd, we would come regularly, but we live in Germany.

Dáire Ó Luchaireáin: 1st session and felt immediately welcomed, a truly warming experience.

Roz Smith: Went to HYB on a recent trip back to NI for 5 classes. Hugely welcoming studio, good facilities and wide variety of classes. I had 3 different teachers, all of whom were excellent in dialogue and explanation or demonstration. It was my first time with infrared heat which was superb if much more intense than my usual studio. An oasis of restoration away from home.

Taneese Woods: Couldn’t recommend HYB enough. Danielle is simply amazing and there’s not enough words to describe how much HYB has helped better not only my physical health but mental too. It’s a totally relaxed environment that has zero judgement and all the teachers are so knowledgeable in their practice. M would highly recommend the 26& flow with Danielle for a factory reset for both your brain and body. There’s no words to describe my love for this place ❤️ thank you Danielle and HYB for everything

Katriona Collins: Ive never done any form of yoga before, did slow flow on Tuesday, it was fab, as a beginner, I felt welcome, there was a great energyin the class. I was able to go at my own pace, and surprised myself that I was able to keep up. Really enjoyed the class, felt a mental and physical benefit. Iv already booked my second class and had the best nights sleep. If your considering it, give it a try!!

Ryan Law: Thought I was going to die. 10/10

Genevieve Gaunt: Gorgeous studio, fantastic class. Anna is a great teacher.

Marylou McDonnell: Beautifully led 26&2 class with Anna Leckey this morning. This was my first time in this particular studio and I found it to be welcoming, spacious and clean with good changing room facilities and a friendly community. Very importantly the hot room itself had great heat, humidity, layout and mirrors. Thank you HYB. 🙏🏻🔥

Gerard McLaughlin: Dropped by on a recent trip to Belfast and really enjoyed the classes.Nice facilities, great selection of classes and friendly teachers who explain everything very well and make all levels feel welcome.Would definitely recommend!

Yoga With Gill: what do users think?

Brian Nugent: Just started Gill's yoga for anxiety class a few months back. It's been really helpful as a tool to help with life's difficulties. Gill and the class mates make the class fun and I can't recommend enough

Wei Lin: I have been going to yoga with Gill since week 20 of my first pregnancy. Each class is an opportunity to learn about how to make this big journey better with tips from Gill and it is truly enjoyable to be able to connect with other moms to be. I will be continuing as long as possible these sessions! Highly recommend Yoga with Gill .

Gemma R: I have been attending Gill’s yoga classes since week 20 of my pregnancy. I have been finding these hugely beneficial for any pregnancy related complaints as Gill has a wealth of knowledge from her many years of experience as a yoga teacher. As a doctor who sits at a desk for the majority of the day, Gill has provided great advice on managing hip/back and shoulder pain and this has helped me cope and be more comfortable in a demanding work environment. I plan to continue these classes until as close to term as possible. Thank you for all your help so far Gill!

Amie: I am pregnant with my first baby and have been attending Yoga with Gill for about ten weeks now. Gill is a fantastic teacher with vast experience who fosters an open environment where everyone who attends feels listened to and safe to express how they are feeling. Each class is different and tailored to everyone's needs at that time, which is a testament to Gill's knowledge and experience. I thoroughly enjoy these classes and have found huge benefit from them during my pregnancy. I cannot recommend Yoga with Gill enough and I look forward to attending postnatal baby yoga classes with Gill once baby arrives.

I attended a different pregnancy yoga during my first pregnancy and find Gill's class so much more holistic and tailored to the entire pregnancy experience.Gill is knowledgeable and her depth of experience is second to none. She has tips for every issue that can creep in during pregnancy and creates a really lovely atmosphere in the class so that everyone feels comfortable opening up and sharing their experience. I am certain that the postures and breathing techniques that Gill taught in each class played a large role in my enjoyable birthing experience. My daughter Ronnie & I had such a great time at Gill’s Baby Massage classes which were both relaxing and fun. It was a brilliant opportunity to meet other new mums & also a lovely bonding experience that Ronnie & I looked forward to each week. We hope to attend more courses in the future.Thank you so much Gill for your wonderful classes!Kelsey & Ronnie

Laura Davis: I first attended yoga with Gill over 4 and a half years ago during my first pregnancy when I attended her pregnancy yoga class. It was a great experience and I looked forward to the class every week. I loved it so much I re attended with my second pregnancy and it was lovely to have that continuity. I have also attended Gill’s postnatal and baby yoga class with my first child and baby massage class with my second child. Again these classes were so enjoyable and were a great experience for us both. I am currently attending Gill’s traditional yoga class which is brilliant for both body and mind. The class is so relaxing and truly a holistic experience. Gill is an exceptional yoga teacher with a wealth of experience and knowledge. Her classes are well planned and varied each week. She caters for all abilities and is mindful of offering alternatives options to those with any physical issues ensuring safe practices at all times. I highly recommend all of Gill’s classes and look forward to continuing to practice yoga with Gill now and in the future.

Anna Henry: Gill is fantastic! I have been at her pregnancy/baby yoga classes for around a year and am very glad she was recommended to me.Gills pregnancy yoga class is prefect for anyone expecting a baby. I found it particularly helpful as it was my first pregnancy. Gill has so much knowledge of all the issues that can come with pregnancy and it was great to meet other mums too and share our experiences. Gill can help you prepare for labour and I learn lots of techniques which can help you get through out.I have just finished Mum & Baby yoga with my wee boy. We loved singing all the songs & doing the yoga together and it has become part of our daily routine at home. I have done a number of baby classes and this one was one of my favourites as it also meant I got to do some yoga.Gill is a wonderful instructor and I would definitely recommend taking aany of her classes.

Susie Neely: . The class is always so welcoming and Gill is a great teacher. The babies all love her and we look forward to going to class every week.

Bethany Telford: I started classes with Gill halfway through my pregnancy. I wanted to learn practices to help me physically and mentally prepare for the birth. I found Gill to be very knowledgeable and friendly. She has a wealth of knowledge and years of experience which creates a safe and calm environment in her classes. It is a lovely time to come and meet other expecting mums and learn from shared experiences. And as Gill says, after the yoga class it's the best night's sleep of the week!

Helen O'Doherty: loved the Baby Yoga classes with Gill. She really enjoyed the baby yoga postures and all the songs and rhymes that went with them, “Zoom, Zoom, Zoom, we’re going to the Moon” was a particular favourite. She had a big grin on her face throughout the classes. The classes had a great mixture of yoga for babies and gentle postnatal yoga for mothers. Gill was great with the babies and they loved the engagement with others. I highly recommend the classes with Gill.

Margaret Lismore: I highly recommend the Yoga for anxiety with Gill. I have been attending this for sometime and have benefited so much from it. It is so good for body, mind and soul. I have also had one to one with Gill and this has helped to strengthen my body and also allow me destress from work.

Emma Smith: I started Pregnancy Yoga with Gill at around 26 weeks, Gill's class is really friendly and welcoming. As a first time mum I was super anxious but I felt at ease in this class. Gill has so much knowledge and solutions to so many issues that pregnant woman were facing in the class, it was a great space to share concerns, get tips and take comfort from other woman who were going through the same thing.I also did birth preparation classes with Gill and my partner, this was a great way of including my partner and preparing us both for labour and birth by taking us through different helpful positions as well as how my partner could support me during this time!I came back to Gill with my baby girl for Postnatal and Baby Yoga and we both really look forward to the class. It's so lovely to see all the wee babies at all different stages and we learn lots of tips, sing songs to our babies and get a good stretch in aswell. I'd highly recommend Gill's classes!

I used to look forward to the yoga classes all week, towards the end of pregnancy it was one of the only things that kept me sane! The yoga helps with discomfort, pain, the approaching birth and you will have the best nights sleep you've had all week afterwards! Gill is great at tailoring the classes each week depending on how everyone is feeling. It's also a good opportunity to chat with other mums to be.Baby massage was great - helpful for their tummies, sleep and its just a lovely way to spend time with your baby.It was lovely going to the classes as a bump, then with baby and i'll continue yoga/baby yoga with Gill in the future.

Yoga Quarter: what do users think?

We attended different sessions with different teachers and they were all worth going to!I cannot recommend this Yoga studio highly enough.

Colin Bell: and a beautiful space. It's a great way to start a Friday.
