Starr Records: what do users think?
Carl_WismeR: Magasin agréable et bien rangé. Par contre très peu de vinyle d'occasion et raretés.
Nathan Galloway: Went down on RSD 2023. Excellent knowledge from the staff, very welcoming and friendly. Fantastic place, will definitely be back again!
Stevie Ward: Cracking shop.
Mert Gurel: There has had a girl even no interest with guess and cant take herself from looking to the phone..no have second hand records only new ones..
Charlie Sloan: Every type of kit you need and if they haven't got it they will order it in
Ed Mccann: Worth a visit for the coffee alone. Great selection and a welcoming atmosphere. Plenty of choice and a great place to spend an hour or two.
Es Dubya: Great shop, good selection of genres across the board. Posters, badges and other cool items too. Lots of stock and friendly staff too
Stephen McCusker: great range of vinyl and staff friendly and knowledgeable
Chris Johnson: This is the record store I've been waiting for Belfast to offer in years. Easily the most reasonably priced record store in Belfast, even gives HMV a serious run for its money. Bloody brilliant collection, staff absolutely know their stuff and love sharing their personal faves. Could have spent a whole rainy Friday afternoon in here, as well as half my savings. Any record collector will love this place and should support and protect it at all costs!
Clive Sturgeon: Great place loads of albums that other record shops might not have. Friendly staff great coffee.
Kieran Van Merkom: Nice record shop in the city center at the side of Castlecourt. Really friendly staff and a nice range of records.
Nanty Narker: Whats your favourite album???
Rachel Twaites: Great selection!
Brian Houston: Great wee shop. Well worth a visit.
Richard Duckworth: One of the greats!! Curated new selection from experienced vinyl impresario!! Always have something interesting, with experimental electronic music and soundtracks well represented!
Agnes McCullagh: Great selection of records and T shirts great vibe Just what the city centre needs small independent shops .Also great craic 🙂
Derek Dubery: Good selection. Competitive prices and helpful staff
Russell Butcher: Fantastic Record Store.!! I feel like a Starr just being in there :)
Ivan Mckeown: Friendly and great prices... what's not to like?
Mark Toal: Took my son here today for his first proper vinyl browse, we weren't disappointed. Great selection of essential discs, decent atmosphere, and, more importantly, friendly, knowledgeable and very helpful staff. Definitely going to make Starr Records a regular event for me and the boy.
Mark Hamill: After Sick records closed I was at a loose end. Now I have somewhere to go again for a browse through the available vinyl while I ponder shop etiquette and ignore the phone calls from my wife wondering how long you can spend record shopping. The answers are: I think you should leave one row between you and other customers to allow elbow room and setting your selected records on, and that record shopping takes as long as it takes for you to reconcile how much you want to spend today with how many records you want to take home.

Voodoo Soup Records: what do users think?
Jonny Gray: Decent collections. Limit on metal vinyl but they have loads of rock/pop second hand.
Stevie Ward: Great wee second hand shop.
William Murray: Best record shop in Belfast in my opinion
Slawomir Karbownik: Ok
feargal mellon: Massive selection at low prices
Chicken Nuggets: Expensive for the records that have scratches on them, e.g.there was a £40 record that had marks and scratches on it.Friendly staff when in the shop.
Honeycomb Spice: Really friendly staff, but some records where overpriced for the condition of them, I lifted a £40-£30 Record Album and found it covered in scratches, not really your ideal spending money on a second hand record.
S E: Love this place. Such a cool vibe. Plus all the staff are ridiculously good looking.
Walhair1 Curran: Wonderful shop! Some fantastic records purchased.
Checkpoint Charlie Derry: Great spot for vinyl collectors.
kieran cush: Lovely staff and great little store.
Keith Jenner: Great range, good value and very helpful. Thanks.
James Taylor: Lovely shop but been 3 time today and closed when web says open.
Dennis Cope: Great independent record store, excellent friendly owner!
Emma Miller: Great shop with some amazing hidden gems! Really friendly staff who are more than happy to help you find what you’re looking for, and you might even come across some records you didn’t even realise you needed! Can’t wait to get back and lose a few hours in there!
GIRL DJ: Picked up some great obscure disco here recently. Definitely worth a dig!
Nigel Lyttle: Was very surprised to find some Beruit psych from the late 60s. Highly recommended to all!
Emma Bowring: I love it. One of my favourite shops in Belfast.
R.carsonbobby@g.mail.com Bobsinit: good selection of oldies on vinyl. souper
Bernat Bofarull: The shop is OK, good selection, reasonable prices and all.The problem is I bought 3 vinyl records today and one of them was totally full of scratches, some of them really bad, and for sure it will not play without jumping.I guess it is my fault for not checking the record condition before buying it, but after checking the very good condition on the other 2 records, I expected the 3rd one to have a similar condition. In any case I would expect the store to check or filter the items sold, to ensure this kind of fair/poor media records are not for sale (or at least put a warning about the fair condition).Anyway, a bit disappointed about my purchase.
Teresa Puig Pascual: Bé

I had the place to myself as I landed in pretty late on a Saturday and Marion was so accommodating with her time. We chatted about music and I got a real feel for how much the place means to her. On a side note, it is probably the most aesthetically pleasing record shop I have stood in, I am itching to get back.
Noel Barnes: As advertised, Marion literally provided me Sound Advice. She spent a good 10 minutes sharing her knowledge and recommendations on contemporary Jazz recordings by a number of artists that she thought I would be interested in. The store is a great place to discover music with her in depth knowledge and has a cool selection of photography books, t-shirts and other gifts. I bought 2 of her reccos and absolutely loved them. I highly recommend Marion and her Sound Advice.

hmv: what do users think?
Bob Cairns: Good staff
Seby D Silva (Rocker): HMV is a leading specialist retailer of music, film, pop culture and technology products, having many stores around UK. The store promotes a wide array of different music and has featured everything from hard rock and metal music, to dance, folk and solo acoustic artists. It he collection is huge and as a music lover a visit to this store is a must.

V1vidV4y: it was a good experience, there were a good section for kpop albums but they are a bit pricy. £54 for a born pink album..

Luis Pato: Lovely
Darren Green: Great bunch of staff very helpful

Kilian: Potato
Erjon Berisha: Terrible shop. Went in to get headphones that costed £220. I asked staff there if it had leather padding and he said it did. Only 30 minutes later when unboxing it to find it didn't have leather padding. Went back into the store and they said they weren't able to refund or exchange my item. I tried to go there the second time to get to exchanged and told the manager the staff member must've unintentionally lied about it because the box was ambiguous hence why I asked. And then he started started saying how they have experts and that I'm accusing them of lying as if they intentionally did it.
David Reynolds: Excellent food and service. Will go back again.
Gordon Glover: Love it for record's CD and action figs
John Ballance: Fairly good though the other day I bought a couple items I asked for a bag as it was raining the only bag they had was a tote bag at the price of £5.99 or 15.99 unsure of exact price as I couldn't here the assistant properly
