He was able to provide a great proposal for the course for us to take to management and has all the infrastructure for invoicing and payment. He is well setup for managing participant registration, Zoom calls and hosting the recorded sessions. The yoga sesions were great, a good balance of being accessible and challenging. Gary managed to demonstrate and explain everything well even though the sessions were online, his experience and enthusiasm were very clear. Natasha Stuart: The place to be if you want a friendly atmosphere, learn something new and get the gains. Having only been going a short while I can already see improvements in my handstands. The coaches are full of knowledge, extremely helpful and know exactly what you need to do to take your skill to the next level!

Andrew Moorehead: Definitely the most useful personal training I've ever had. At nearly 36 I was fairly sure that my mobility was never going to improve. Signed up for one to ones with David, more in the hope that I would try and maintain what I had. After only 4 or 5 weeks I now have a range of movement in my hips that I haven't had since I was about 7. Has been incredibly helpful with gym work - technique for squats and dead lifts has never been better and also with taekwondo. They also seem to have clients in of all abilities - from people who are mastering the splits to people like me who were struggling to sit with crossed legs.

christopher morrison: David, Cal and Nick are all very welcoming. They make you feel at ease when you are in the loft whilst also keen to share their knowledge with you. I train with David once weekly whilst also following a program online. David has got me really personalised the sessions and program to help me meet my goals. After just 10 sessions my body feels much better and understanding of how to use its functions to create real lasting permanent changes/ adaptions in order to be a better stronger version of myself. I highly recommend investing in this style of training and using the movement loft in order to do so. Back pain, hip pain, calf pain, any pain can be gone with this proper style of movement and training.

David Balmer: I have just finished the 6-week challenge with Mercury Fitness and it was an incredibly positive experience. From the first virtual meeting to discuss my aims through to the culmination of the challenge, Jay and the team have been encouraging, supportive, firm and fun. Having exercised all my life and a keen runner and triathlete, my weight had crept on over the last 10 years and my motivation was a rock bottom.I was apprehensive of joining the boot camps at first as I thought I would be going to an elite class and I wouldn’t be fit enough to even start – I didn’t need to worry. The other members were so encouraging and welcoming, combined with the brilliant instructors making sure everyone had modifications if needed, I quicky settled in and felt part of the crew from day 1. The sessions were brilliant, after each one I felt exhausted and exhilarated; giving me the motivation to come back soon to keep improving. I enjoyed them so much I ended up doing 4 or 5 a week instead of the 3 that is recommended.The progress wasn’t just down to the workouts, thanks to Jay’s nutrition guide and accountability I really started to see results quickly; monitoring my calories and knowing that I had clear goals made it straight forward to keep going. Even when I had a wobble in week 4, Jay was on hand to quickly give me great advice to get me back on track. I finished the 6 weeks 8.5kg lighter and in the best shape I have been in for 10 years, more importantly I have my motivation back. If you are thinking of signing up, I could not recommend it enough; it's not easy and you do have to put the effort in, however the results at the end are fantastic – remember it’s a challenge not a magic solution, you get out what you put in.

Danielle Mcveigh: I had a fantastic transformation challenge with Mercury. The trainers were amazing, the workouts were great craic and the 6 weeks were the toe up the bum I needed. It was easy to see the progress week on week and I ended feeling strong and like I accomplished something amazing! I'm glad I stopped being a ginny and just done it. Also I am 20.2lbs lighter and can do savage damage to a slam ball.

Lisa Magrath: I’ve just finished my six week challenge with Mercury Fitness and all I can say is that if you’re willing to get stuck in and be disciplined with your diet this programme really works.I’d tried lots of times to get motivated to go to the gym, doing a class or two and then not being able to keep at it. The six week programme meant that I had to show up for 3 classes a week and I surprised myself by wanting to do 4! For someone who felt intimidated by the gym, I felt welcomed and encouraged from my very first session. Conor and Judith’s classes were fantastic and pushed me further than I thought I could go.I’ve wanted to be healthier and fitter for years without being able to find something I actually enjoyed doing, but the classes were always good craic and I can honestly say I looked forward to going! I’m so pleased to have lost 19lb and 5% body fat and am looking forward to continuing to work towards my goals. I know I wouldn’t have managed this without Mercury’s help. If you’re thinking of doing the challenge, just go for it. You won’t regret it!

William Sloan: So, about 5 months off work with Covid, led to an almost 3 stone weight gain, it had been coming off slowly once I returned to work. What I hadn't really realized was how much my fitness and strength had waned, until I helped a guy push his wife's car about 7 weeks ago. It took me about 5 minutes to recover 😂. Then the opportunity with Mercury Fitness landed on my Facebook that night and I thought, why not? First night at Ward Park was extremely tough and I wondered what had I gotten into, but with super instructors and a great bunch of people, it made me determined to hit the 6 weeks as hard as I could. The classes, all outdoors, were great but hard work, and it wasn't long before I started feeling fitter and stronger. The meal plan was easy to follow and never felt hungry. I'm so glad I challenged myself over the 6 weeks to keep pushing harder and thanks to the support of the trainers and my group, I'm now down 24lb, dropped 5.1% body fat and 4 points down on visceral fat. Tony Philip: I completed my 6 week MFNI transformation on Sunday 13 Feb. I started on 3 January 22 very overweight and unfit. The classes were hard, the 1st class I didn't feel fit enough to complete the warmup but I kept going and by the 4th week I was surprised by how well my body was responding to the fitness routine.To give you an idea about where I was, I joined a gym in August 2021 knowing I needed to change my lifestyle, paid all the fees but it wasn't until I started the Mercury 6 week challenge in Jan 2022 that I attended the gym for the 1st time.The result of the challenge is that I lost 19.4lbs in 6 weeks, feel fitter, trousers now button again and I feel like training regularly. Over the next 6 weeks I want to lose another 15lbs and I believe I will do that thanks to MFNI.It doesn't matter what age you are, I'm 57, take up the challenge and you'll never look back.Good luck

Marian Kovac: I just finished my 6weeks and must say I’m so happy I did this The trainers are amazing very supportive and helpful. I only attended 2 live sessions and was still able to reach my goal even beyond the target within 6 weeks I lost over 8% of body and sitting now on 15% which is absolutely amazing I feel so much more energetic was able to get perfect times while Hiking mountains without being out of breath After 3 weeks I lost 10kg of weight and 6% of body fat on the end I find out I put up back 4kg but lost additional body fat over 2% which means I put up muscle weight as I feel and look leaner this is incredible results and I can not recommend them more if you wanna get back in shape. If you decide to do it you need to follow the plan and be dedicated to reach the goal and work hard on it. The support you get is amazing so if someone is reading it and thinking about transferring your life don’t hesitate

Hannah Millar: As someone with no experience and very unfit and out of shape I was worried about starting with Mercury as I felt I would really struggle and embarrass myself. I couldn’t have been more wrong as Jay and Pete have been unbelievably supportive throughout the whole process and make sure each session is manageable for each individual person based on their own fitness levels, while still pushing you to do better than you did the day before. There is a real mentality of care and support, and your only competition is yourself as no matter what stage they are at in their fitness journey the other members of Mercury are honestly the kindest and most supportive people you could meet.Every session is always fun and so rewarding and Pete is like having your very own cheerleader, he is everything you could possibly ask for in a trainer. He celebrates your wins with you and finds ways to adapt and push you in exactly the right ways. The nutritional package has helped me make smarter food choices, my mental health has improved leaps and bounds since starting and I have lost 21 pounds and counting! Jay tells you at the beginning to trust the process, and he is 100% right. Commit to the 6 weeks, do everything they tell you and you’ll really surprise yourself with what you’re able to do. I can’t thank Jay & Pete enough or possibly speak highly enough about Mercury, and I’m looking forward to staying on as a vet.

First Day Training … worried about joining into a new class etc was one thing but having realised that the last time I had done any form of REAL exercise was when I was in year 14 in school ! I found the instructors all very welcoming and you were not left out, you were put centre stage so you could mingle and chat. The first night I struggled and when I say I struggled I STRUGGLED. I spent more time on my face trying to do press ups that actually doing them . However the instructor and other people weren't to long in shouting and pushing me to keep going. After the first 2 classes I was done. Was getting annoyed with myself cause my brain wanted to do the class and my body was like no! Also the issues of having went from over 3k cals a day to 1800 didn't help. However cause you have already booked you classes and the instructors push you and find out when your coming etc give me the sense of right let go get it done as they where there waiting to start the class and didn't want to let anyone else down. Over the next few classes I got more into it still hated life for the 45mins that I was there. After the 2nd week it was the first time I had the

Leah Reid: I started with Mercury in Nov 2020. This has certainly been a different experience for me than in the past. In the past I gave up but the PTs at mercury have made the exercise varied and dare I say fun! The other members are also great for support and encouragement when you find things tough. I still struggle with improving my eating habits but again advice is provided and some great recipe ideas. Lockdown has been tough but the team have brought great online workouts and team challenges to keep us all training and on our toes!I highly recommend Mercury Fitness NI and cant wait to continue my journey and reach my goals.

Richard Yarr: So decided to make some changes in my life from crisps chocolate and generally a see food and eat it diet to @mercuryfitnessni approach. Clicked on the link one night sitting on the sofa then bang emails texts and a meeting to get an idea about the program. From signing up it was the fear of turning up at a boot camp not knowing anyone but a lot of friendly people and instructors which made you push on and achieve your goals. I found the calorie counting difficult for a few days and when I found the veg and fruit really filled you up for longer and in fact needing less food to feel better. The outdoor boot camps are amazing good variation of cardio and strength and if your lucky enough to live in Lisburn you have a guy who will bust you but take your mind off the burn pushing you in the direction you need to be in! Folks if your sitting there watching Jason’s videos and nervous to try it, don’t be 6 weeks transformed by body weight and energy levels. Give it a go and try and loose more than I did 19.6lbs and 5.9% body fat in 6 weeks. What have you got to loose except from weight and fat!

G F: Trained there for 2years, great vibe, great kit, huge space and reasonably priced. The owner Andy is professional, knowledgeable, approachable and has fostered a sense of community in his gym that many coaches would envy.As a weightlifter I needed a place where I could do Olympic lifting and all the associated accessory exercises. RCFNI had everything I needed and the location is very accessible.After moving, I realise I was spoiled with RCFNI facilities.Highly recommended.

Dylan Chipp: Excellent coaching, friendly and great value. I attended at barbell session and took away plenty of tips to improve technique. Well worth getting into this box if your're on your travels or considering CrossFit/weight lifting.

Stephen Millar: Started 1-2-1 coaching with head coach Stephen, and I can truthfully admit that my strength, fitness, and general health has massively increased.Running my own business means I get stressed, eat unhealthy foods, binge on coffee and anything caffeine. When I finally bit the bullet and went in to SWAT, I chatted with Stephen to see what he could do to help motivate and improve my health. The 1-2-1 coaching was the best option, as I found that Stephen actually pays attention to what I'm doing, tracks my progress, my form and what I'm capable of. He is very knowledgeable of this industry, and I have to say everyone is made to feel welcome as soon as they walk through the door.1-2-1 coaching was definitely the right way to go about improving my training and I haven't looked back since

Ryan Kennedy: Joined this gym last year when I was feeling a lot of anxiety and insecurities about joining a gym. Tom instantly welcomed me and set up a plan for me. Each session I felt more confident then the last.And when I had decided to stop the PT sessions and continued to use the gym Tom was still greatly supportive. Really sound guy and I reccomend to anyone looking to improve their fitness and wellbeing. 💪

Lucas Shaw: i went here for some rehab work on my shoulders and hips. i have been to doctors and physios on and off for the past year and my experience with tom is the best I've had in terms of seeing real improvement. he's incredibly friendly and knowledgeable so i cant recommend him enough if u want a personal trainer but even if you just want a place to work out, the facilities are great and the atmosphere is incredibly welcoming

That may change along the way, but he’s flexible and supportive regardless as your goals may change and develop.He will push you, you will curse him out and be raging at him, but in the end you’ll be thankful for the encouragement and tough love.
