Dundonald Touring Caravan Park: what do users think?

Theo Pieterse: FantasticNearby activities: Ice rink, Bowling, Movies, lots of eating places and lots to do.Safety: Very safeWalkability: Walking distance to all amenities.

Stuart Boyd: We stayed 5 nights in November, a great spot as it's so close to decent restaurants and American style diners. Whilst there was electric and water with recycling waste from bins and toilets available at this time of year, the toilets, showers and any laundry area was locked off, hence the low cost to stay £75 for the week. There was a defib on site which is always handy when the wife is reversing and somewhere to empty to Pi$$ pot.Although sited in a built up area it is shrouded with trees and bushes and can't really be seen from the main road, it's pretty quiet with a little road noise but if you wear earphones you'll hardly notice. I highly recommend Wolfes or Binky's for breakfast and the Tail of Spice for a decent curry, not cheap but good quality. We will come back next year when the rest of the site is open as it's handy to stay when visiting friends and family around Co. Down.Nearby activities: Ice rink with Bowling just 2 mins walk, soft play for toddlers in the entertainment complex , 2 mins away as well as a multiscreen cinema complex. There's also a great cycle path called the Comber Greenway at the mouth of the site entrance which is a safer alternative for cyclists wanting to enjoy the area.

Anthony Foster: Location: 5/5

Mucho Wonderbaar: Lovely campsite. Located really well for biking into Belfast. It run by the local council and they seem to be upgrading their campsites. This one is a little older but it's still very clean with hot showers.

Olga: .There are buses nearby with which to visit the city and return. If I remember correctly, the ticket cost £2.20.Near the campsite there is an area with different restaurants and a cinema. If you are visiting all of Ireland and want to spend a night or two like us, I recommend it 100%

Ian McCutcheon: and therefore bit of a queue in the morning but nothing major. Restaurants just a short walk away and cinema for those rainy nights.Nearby activities: Cinema, coffee shop and restaurants

Andrew Mauger: All we need for standard price. Good toilets and showers.Nearby activities: Lots!Location: 5/5 …

Kate Mullen: Stayed here for two nights over the weekend in one of the forest domes. It was a fantastic experience. The dome was lovely and warm and Rob was fantastic. He was always on standby if needed. He heated our hot tub prior to arrival and left more sticks for our fire outside the door incase we needed extra. Lovely and clean also. Would definitely recommend and we will most definitely be back!

Eoin Kenny: 5 stars all round. We are a family of 5, youngest being 3. We stayed in a viking 4 hut, for 2 nights, for a santa experience just before christmas. Fitted us perfectly, brought attavel cot but the baby squeezed into the bunks beside his sisters. Price was very reasonable, the activities around the santa experience were excellent. Roller skating, paddling boats, a show, smotes making, a train and visit to santa. The huts are cosy and beautiful. We were met by Rob the new accommodation manager, who had the hut and the hot tub pre heated for us. After reading reviews I was worried about the locks etc. He informed me that all accommodation have new locks. He had smores kit ready for the kids. A bag of logs for the stove. Very good touches!! You stay right around the back of the park so you're away from it all, in a wooded area with a little stream nearby. Lovely walks and adventures with the kids. 20 minutes to belfast, fine big shop nearby with everything you need. Plenty of restaurants within 10 minutes, and the coffee on site was unreal! Couldn't recommend more, hoping to come back kn the summer and enjoy the waters ports. Thanks Rob for everything.

Robby Thompson: Kids Christmas visitSanta was best ever and very kindService: 5/5 …

Chris: Been here a few times in groups. Great fun for kids and adults too. Wetsuits and lifejackets supplied for the Aqua park and other water activities. Aqua park is good fun. Paid a little more to do Stand Up Paddle boarding too. Good fun. Expect to waken up sore the next day when you realise you’ve used muscles you didn’t know you had! Would recommend. Kids also used the small kids splash area which they enjoyed.

PipGirlBrady: We stayed for 2 nights at one of the Viking Huts. The accommodation manager Rob went above and beyond during our stay and is a real credit and asset to the place. The hut was lovely! Bed was very comfortable, the hot tub was great, it was nice and quiet. The spa was a great experience and the food in the restaurant was good. Staff were so friendly. We honestly loved our stay and will definitely be back. Really recommend people stay and find out for themselves.Rooms: Viking Hut was lovely! Bed was comfortable. Free WiFi and TV with youtube. It was warm and quiet.Walkability: The huts are close to main bus routes, local shops, cafe and restaurant.

Alyson McLarnon: . There were lots of stalls to choose from and the place had an overall buzz to it with most people dressed up for the Halloween costume competition. The fireworks display was incredible and we are already looking forward to next years event! :

Pebble Pods - Glamping Resort: what do users think?

Carolina Kucinskas: Stayed at the Pebble Pods for 2 peaceful and relaxing nights. Located in a very quiet and beautiful countryside area. The pod was very tidy, clean and cute! Upon arrival we had chocolates, nightgowns and slippers waiting for us. Perfect amount of space for two people. No shower or toilet in the actual pod which didn’t bother us at all as the main restroom area is very close and really well looked after. The highlight of the stay was definitely the hot tub. Each pod had its own hot tub which was super nice and private. No stove or cooker in the pods but we definitely made good use of the barbecue! There was other activities available such as a sauna, tv room, renting kayaks and bikes and not to mention the amazing view by the water. Pity it rained for our stay but overall it was a pleasure to stay at the Pebble Pods and a big big thank you to the host who even gave us a lift to the shop as we didn’t have our own car with us!

Teresa Rogan: Had an absolutely amazing night, beautiful scenery loved the animals, and will be back, place was spotless on arrival, and hot tub was the icing on the cake.Walkability: The walk around the grounds was stunning.

Deirdre Daly: Absolutely beautiful pods very clean and tidy and lovely scenery and a beautiful jacuzzi.Rooms: Very clean and tidy.

Ronan Mc Elroy: We had the VIP pod so not sure what the standard pods are like in comparison. We had a kitchenette with mini fridge, microwave, sink and running hot water, knives, forks, Plates and bowls. The room had a tv and wifi, but we didnt really use either as we wanted a break.Theere was a small sofa and small table. Cleaning supplies and shower supplies. We where provided with 2 hand towels and 2 bath towels, a dressing gown/house coat and set of slippers each. The toilets and showers are in a separate block. Clean, warm and had soap shower gels etc available too.

Ben Mullen: Went for my 20th Birthday could not recommend more. So relaxing will 100% be returning

Maria Downey: Absolutely amazing stay! It’s a must go for a relaxing and beautiful night away. It was my partners 21st and the wonderful host put out a banner and even a card! Couldn’t believe the cleanliness and attention to detail in this place. It’s a must see in Ireland. Devon Booth: Had such a nice stay here, I really loved the landscape around the site and the animals on the farm. Such a good place to stay for a night away with friends and family!Nearby activities: A great nearby activity is Castlewellan Forest Park it's such a lovely walk and has such great scenery, also a variety of activities to do such as bike riding, kayaking, hikes and walks etc

Brandan Magee: Had a great new year especially the neighbours we were a bit too loud at one point they didn't really mind but we had to apologise as it was past 11 they were quite happy with our apology especially getting sleeping bags and logs we weren't too long for waiting it's a great spot for some family fun and no madness quite a peaceful area there is also a play park in there for kids not a big one but it definitely does the job and the comunital area was quite spacious and the chalkboard is amazing

Sharon Irwin: I enjoyed my stay at Pine Tree Hollow I think what made it so good was the Communal Hut and all the we games supplied. I also liked the we Honesty Shop. I would come back here to stay. Hopefully the weather will be better next time.😊😊.Rooms: We stayed in the Beehive loved the decor.
