Voodoo: what do users think?
John Poynton: There is an embedded ambition to frequent this establishment. If I lived there I'd easily pay for an employees future.
Adrian Aicken: Best rock bar in Belfast with great intimate gigs also one of the cheapest for a pint, what's not to love? Honestly some great gigs with great sound (most of the time) . Would recommend 5*
Richard McLaughlin: Not a rock bar. Called them out which they didn't like. They simply didn't play rock music..
Nathan Scott: Pretty decent venue for smaller bands
Adam Knowles: Plays anything but what people ask for. Accept promotion of new bands but this played absolute rubbish
Adam Wady: Wear what you like and enjoy the music. Staff are so friendly and so is every punter in the place. Enjoy
Mike w: Metal af. Love it
Nathan Napier: Awesome music, staff and atmosphere.
Bryan Duignan: Awesome place to see awesome bands. Could do with a bit of tidying, but I suppose that adds to the vibe.
Stephen Duffy: Great night watching EZ/DC.Good atmosphere, and great place for live gig.
Bobbie Davies: My night was ruined. Every city I've been to I always find the metal bars, because I've been in the rock/metal scene for over 20+ years. I always feel at home in metal bars... shame about this place. The bar staff were rude to me and my friend and I cant help but feel like it is because we don't 'look' like metalheads. One of the bar girls made a gesture with her hands at me as though to say "hurry up" when I was ordering. When I asked her why she was rushing me, she replied "I wanted you to tell me all the drinks in one go". I was trying to be courteous by not giving her too many drinks so she would forget. When I then told her it looked like she was rushing me and that's not OK, she rolled her eyes at me and walked off mid-sentence.Another barman walked away from us because we asked questions about the drinks on offer, which seemed like too much trouble for him to answer,I guess.A random dude came up to me and told me that he could tell it was my first time here, and I don't look like the type to be into metal - purely because of how I was dressed.Such a cold reception, and very disappointed in the metal scene in Belfast. I shouldn't have to wear an obscure band tee to be accepted into my own music scene.Attached photo is from before what happened above.
Lianne linz1979@hotmail.co.uk: Just going to go in and doorman older one cobbled right in front of me forget it 🙃
Donna Malcolm: Amazing staff, Ben and Joe are so lovely, great music fully recommend a visit to voodoo while in belfast absolutely brilliant atmosphere
Amanda Donald: Staff were amazing really friendly and accommodating, we were there fir a gig upstairs which was fantastic Callum beattie
Sinead Archbold: Absolutely incredible food! And I loved their lemonades too
Stephanie Skelly: Great pub, amazing service and shoutout to Kat especially for looking after us ☺️.Highly recommend, rock music & good atmosphere!
Nadia Francis: Staff were lovely! Sack the cleaner though 🤢
Peter Murdock: Fantastic the Armen were great the people in it was fab had a great night
Елена: This is very cool
Amy Walker: Bouncer done a brilliant job tonight making sure a vulnerable couple made it home safe, dedicated to his job and professional throughout, credit to your business
Jonny Burrows: Great venue for gigs, great crowd, great staff.

F: £6 for a pint of Guinness and it's not even poured properly. Prices have went through the roof post COVID. Save your money and go to Parlour nearby, better pint for less money
Olivia Love: Great night out here at Swiftogedon. Downstairs bar is nice too for a drink and usually has live music.
Harry McNally: Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5More

Brónadh Rooney: Fionnuala was a showstopper tonight during the interval for the comedy gig. lifting all the glasses on the floor - without her, there would have been no glasses for drinks. I'm very appreciative! She was very modest also when I asked her name for this review but she deserves the credit!
mijragde: Atmosphere: 5/5More
Ian Byrne: Fantastic old school music hall.
Zöe B: The best night we went to one of the comedy shows. 🤣 never laughed so much ever. It was brilliant. Really lovely venue and not too pricey considering it's belfast and 2023🙄🤣I would advise if your going on a Tuesday to any of the empire laughs back shows to turn up early to get a seat.
Ged Naughton: Great looking cellar bar, with food, live music, live football and bar menu. I didn't go upstairs but heard the sounds of live music later on. Highly recommended.
Graham Cordner: Great live music venue.
donna mcbride: Brilliant place for gigs
TheNasenkaiser: Relaxed music joint for the never aging crowd……

Trehan: What a place!!! I Lo❤️e Jazz 🎸🎶, Love a great atmosphere and live music, who doesn’t? We came across this venue by accident and thought we’d try it. We weren’t dressed up though and felt we’d get rejected initially. Well, we got the warmest welcome, ushered to our seats, provided with Beautiful cold water without even asking and then provided a top star service for drinks. I requested a cocktail that wasn’t on the menu. The waitress, bless her, did nothing but get the ingredients offline and created my cocktail for me, and boy did she do a grand job! All the staff we interacted with were fantastic! Super friendly, Professional, smart, warm, welcoming and made Berts even more attractive. We had some drinks and enjoyed the live Jazz music from the musicians. Just loved this evening to finish off our stay in Belfast. If you’re after a fantastic vibe, a date night, live music, professional friendly service with reasonably priced drinks, then look no further, in fact, put Bert’s at the top of your list and you won’t go anywhere else, I promise you. Thank you ‘Berts’ for a great evening. Have a try if ‘Madeline’ cocktail. It’s a bonus!! 💫
Sharon Paul: A really nice fine dining experience. The food was lovely! There was live jazz music which added a great touch.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 4/5Recommended dishes Baked Alaska …More
Sue Reive: We had a fabulous time at Berts! The Tuesday night Jazz session with Rose , Laura, and Mateus was so enjoyable! Lots of jazz standards including Summertime, Fly me to the moon, and Route 66! Fantastic vocals and great accompaniment! I would strongly recommend this place. Plus the staff were extremely pleasant and efficient.
Arturo Aldaco: great peaceful transplant of the pastun lugar tranquilo que recuerdo de un tiempo en el pasado
Ricky Hawk: Great place for cocktails, the staff here are very knowledgeable and so helpful, always go when I am in Belfast, really put this place on your must do list
Donald Finlay: Food, atmosphere and service all very good
Michael Anderson: Out of this world. Staff, atmosphere & food fantastic. Thoroughly recommend!
Sharon Wright: Went for brunch. Precooked a table for a special event. Ordered breakfast bap. Bap hard, burnt bacon couldn't eat it and 1 small pork sausage e.g. Dennys small thin sausage. I opted for no egg.. had a dessert of rhubarb crumble and ice cream, it was lovely but a rip off at 8.95. Bap plus re fried fries was 1495.If i had have served this where i used to work people would have refused to pay for it. Nice place inside and decor but definitely not worth the money. Wouldn't go back. I was so looking forward to the experience very disappointing.
Caroline Weeks: Great atmosphere. Good food. Great service Would have preferred a larger band with a vocalist rather than just instrumental but guess that could alternate.
Miss_Vix_Reads: Great service, delicious food, relaxing atmosphere. Lovely place for anniversary dinner.
Rachel Stevenson: Fabulous!!! You HAVE to get the camembert sharing cheese. Delish . Staff lovely and ambience perfect . Hidden gem in Belfast
Daniel Crawford: Lovely atmosphere and service. Not too crowded and the jazz music is great to hear.
Jackie Duffy: Food was delicious.😋 Service was excellent. I'd would have appreciated being told that the tip was added on when I left a tip. Expensive tho.
Dianne Innes: Inspirational food, attentive staff, relaxed atmosphere and wonderful vibe. Well worth a visit.
Brandon Terry: Awful
Maeve Mc Nally: Bit pricey, but worth it. Had a lovely afternoon.
Andrew Richards: Great food, excellent service, great venue and atmosphere.
Clare Daly: Weekend brunch deal is great, food was lovely and staff are so nice. Really recommend

Mark Devlin: Was there for the Base Arcade event, really nice venue and cool displays
Maebh Bird: Great venue lovely staff!!
Aurora Woods: I organised a memorial party at Oh Yeah Music Centre for my late father, who loved dancing and electronic music. It was an important occasion for everyone there as we had not been able to have a funeral for my dad in person due to covid and this was the first occasion that the extended family and friends could all come together and celebrate my father's life. The venue was absolutely perfect and the care, attention and kindness shown by its staff just went above and beyond. What a fantastic venue!
Mark Drennan: First time at this venue to see Dean Friedman. It was nice, not too large, good sound and a bar located conveniently.
Maeve Steele: Lovely venue for a concert, enjoyed my trip to see Set It Off. Staff were friendly and so polite and the security staff were so kind and caring to the young people attending. A lovely atmosphere and well run venue. The venue is also a charity supporting local artists and I was lucky to hear one of their artists. Highly recommend for a concert.

Limelight: what do users think?
David Taylor: It was OK.
steven english: Great spot for Live music
Marius Dimofte: Greatest live music venue in Belfast!
Peter Smyth: Love this venue for gigs, very intimate with good views and great sound.
Keith Anderson: Great music
Joseph Fissore: Small yet superb venue for concerts and clubbing. Went to see Dead Kennedy's, and enjoyed myself greatly. The drinks are shockingly cheap compared to 95% of concert halls around Europe. The staff members were really friendly.
Darren Godfrey: Went to see Billy talent two days ago amazing would definitely come to venue again
Martin Jordan: Great club. Chill staff. Acceptable drinks prices.
Glenn Baker: Great gig venue, going to get better with the Limelight Lounge. R.I.P. Katy's (or the Dome for the geriatrics!)
Ana Laura Hernandez Martinez: Amaizing night with Dead Kenbefys playing
Sean Duffy: It was great and staff was great as well they help me out with a seat because I can not stand for too long
Anna: My friends and myself often come to limelight and our night is usually made by seeing and speaking to one of the kindest bouncers Claire, she’s helped us on many occasions and is honestly one of the reasons why we feel safe enough to attend limelight so often.
dogac akyıldız: Spacious place. Good music. Fast bar service. Nice staff.
Marie-Claire: I used to love going to the Limelight in my student days. It was the only place in Belfast that would have a decent rock club night during the week and at the weekend. I went for the first time since before COVID on Saturday and was really disappointed that Limelight 2 no longer played rock tunes! The drink deals were good but our main reason for going was the music :(
Lisa Stone: A favourite venue in Belfast for gigs!! Cannot fault it..
Stevie Ward: Great venue.
Iain Taylor: Good service at the bar, but the acoustics are terrible.
jackrann: I’ve been to so many nightclubs all around the world, but I’ve never been treated so poorly as I am by the bouncers in Limelight back home. They constantly take the mick out of you, and seem like they don’t even want you to get inside. The number of times they’ve taken five steps back and made me walk like a model to get in. Made me recite the number on my drivers license. Show them my Instagram and phone settings so I am who I am. I’m 21, and look it. In all these instances I never really had much to drink before I came in and don’t ever cause any bother.Expect passport control style stares when you get in line and they take your ID. They’ll hold it for 40seconds looking at any way to try and see a little hole in it.Inside bouncers will doing casual walkabouts in bathrooms and swarming around the club. Dont be surprised when you go out to the little smoking area and you can’t back get in for no reason. They close doors when they feel like it. The funny thing is despite all this hi-tech bouncer management the club is still bustling with 16 year oldsThe sad thing is that Belfast really has no other option because Limelight is the most popular club and has deals with the biggest promoters in Ireland to bring in brilliant DJs. A nightclub is about trying to let go and have fun, but at Limelight you can’t do that because having fun is a sign of “having too many” in managements eyes. This leads to an incredibly boring atmosphere and lads shoving into each other all the time.If you’re thinking about coming here, just don’t. Go to a nice bar or just go home.
Jay woolsey: Pete Doherty is God
Cian Smith: Staff very rude
Frank Togher: Nice ; venue split into Limelight 1 & 2. Get some great bands. Cloakrooms are nice touch. Prices are normal for Belfast. £3 for a small bottle of water.

Waterfront Hall: what do users think?
LIAM MCLAUGHLIN: Great venue, but Jools Holland made a major mistake last evening, when he encouraged people from the audience to come up to the front and dance.... halfway through the show!! They remained there for the rest of the show. All the people in the first 20 rows could not see the stage show. The staff at the Waterfront were not to blame. Mr. Holland was the culprit.Liam
