Stormont Hotel Belfast: what do users think?

Keith Green: While on holiday we were brought to the La Scala restaurant in the Stormont hotel . The staff were very attentive and friendly. In our group everyone had a different meal and we all agreed that the food was excellent. There was a nice atmosphere in the restaurant and we would definitely return on our next visit to BelfastFood & drinks: Thankyou to Michael for making our Mother's Day afternoon tea a special day

Donns Crawford: My daughter booked afternoon tea for 3 for a Christmas present and we went today 3rd of March. Lovely presentation and everything from the mini soup and the accompliments to the sandwiches and deserts were beautiful. The chef came out to say hello and we complimented him and thanked him.We had 2 children with us and we were accommodated at the perfect table.Excellent service, special Thankyou to the bar man/server , I didn’t get his name but he was friendly and professional and he made it special.Safety: With 2 children a baby and a 6 year old we felt safe and well seated.Food & drinks: Excellent

Steve Hills: Amazing rooms, supported by the amazing service from all the staff. The breakfast was out of this world. The views of and location to visit Stormont are incredible. With free parking and WiFi, this made a family break so much more easier and enjoyable.Rooms: Amazing bed and bathrooms. A well presented hotel

Titanic Hotel Belfast: what do users think?

Helen McHugh: We treated my mother to a weekend away at the titanic hotel. We were a group of 6. The hotel staff really made our stay. Because I was organising everything I was a bit stressed and the staff never made me feel like I was being a bit much. Even though I know I was! They helped organise our cab tours which I would say are a must do when in Belfast. The staff in the bar helped organise a space to watch the match. The hotel itself was very exact in encompassing the vibe of the titanic and the white star line. 5 stars overall.

Katie Zeta: Hotel highlights Luxury, Great view, Romantic, Quiet, Great value, High-tech

Cliona Moore: Absolutely fabulous hotel !!!! From check in to check out our experience was unreal. Rooms were spacious with fab decor and a very comfy bed, breakfast consisted of a huge variety of buffet breakfast foods, dined in the hotel restaurant which served beautifully prepared meals. Overall our stay was faultless and we will definitely be back

ailis w: The actual hotel was gorgeous, and the breakfast buffet and a la carte menu were great. Wouldn’t recommend the hotel bar though, the spicy margarita was almost undrinkable and the service was very slowRooms: Include hairdryer, coffee machine, pods, instant coffee, tea, biscuits, bottled water.

J O: Service: 5/5

The Irish Chef Abroad: Simply a stunning hotel. The time and effort put into the decor alone is worth the visit. Detailed and understanding the fundamentals of the Titanic itself. The room was beautifully finished as well. Darkened corridors with highlighted doors lead you to the rooms. The doors themselves are worth a mention. Key entry is modern and works perfectly every time. The super high ceiling and windows lend an air of grandeur to an already large room. Room was perfectly clean and bed was comfortable. Toilet was nicely decorated and shower was great. The bar was busy on arrival but service was excellent. Everything from drinks to food arrived in good time.Breakfast, buffet or a la carte, was of high standard and well laid out. I had smoked salmon cream cheese bagel. Perhaps needed a little more cheese but I added poached eggs and they were perfect.Checkout was seamless and quick. All staff were friendly and open at all times which so often fails in larger hotels. But not here. Overall, one of the better hotel stats that I have enjoyed. As a small point you need to include car parking if you are driving as there is no parking locally. Hotel is not really walkable in terms of the city centre, but the cab ride is not extortionate.Well worth the trip and location is good in relation to the historic significance.Rooms: Fantastic rooms that are clean, large and well designed.Noteworthy details: Design was high in the agenda when the hotel was built. The name suggests and accord with Harland and Wolff, but the sea and ship design is everywhere and truly unique. Excellent work.

Paul: Hotel highlights Romantic

The Harrison: what do users think?

Carolyn Quainton: was so special and carefully decorated - I can't wait to sample a different room next time, because I understand that every single one is decorated in a unique way.I also loved the local area. Fabulous restaurants nearby and beautiful streets, houses etc. Super easy to get into the centre of Belfast. To sum up, my time at The Harrison Hotel was nothing short of fantastic. I left feeling refreshed and already planning my next visit! Definitely check it out!

mandy bentley: ,

Alan Adair: The Harrison delivers. Other hotels often operate under illusion or promise of customer service but the Harrison delivers it. Prosecco in the room for 3pm? Prosecco was in the room at 3pm. Early car parking required? Car parking delivered. Recommendations nearby? Delivered. Breakfast in the room at 10am? Breakfast delivered to the room at 10am. What exquisite surroundings we enjoyed in the Sloane Suite enjoying a standalone bath at the base of a 16th Century Veronese wall art. From arrival to an Amaretto Sour evening nightcap in the front bar we had an absolutely fantastic stay. Thoroughly recommended. Special mention to Louise in particular for her attention to detail.

Neal Wilkinson: a few doors down, so it was pretty noisy outside from midnight to 2am, especially since it was New Year’s Eve, but I imagine this is the case most Saturday nights. This was a wonderful treat for us, well worth it and we would absolutely recommend a stay here.Walkability: 5 minute walk to Queen’s University and 20ish to city center. Lots of coffee shops, bars and restaurants nearby and Botanic Gardens is a beautiful place to take a walk.

Saskia Edwards: Lovely stay at the Harrison. Ecclectic decor, something to look at in every corner, a very charming place.Rooms - Each room is named after a local hero - we stayed in the Van Morrison room - with a booklet of info about the person & local sights to see related to that person. Beds & pillows were comfortable. The sink in our bathroom was a work of art itself. The Harrison provided lots of fantastic local recommendations for entertainment, food & drink in a booklet in the room - we tried several and they were spot on. The only information missing from the booklet is how to adjust the temperature of the designer radiators which I simply couldn't work out - our room got very hot!Atmosphere - staff were polite, however generally quiet and lacked a bit of energy to create the warmth you might expect. The bar, for instance, would be much improved with a bit of background music. And some simple pleasantries from staff - I appreciate not everyone wants a lengthy chat, but a simple smile, "hello, how's your day been? Is it your first time in Belfast?" would have really lifted the atmosphere and overall experience to give it that 5 stars. The Harrison is located near the University, Botanic Gardens and a range of lovely restaurants and pubs. 30 minute walk into the centre of Belfast, so be prepared to pay for taxis if you're less mobile.Overall a very good experience at the Harrison & I would stay again.

Hollis Cash: is a wonderfully magical place that beckons you to come inside and playfully dares you to leave. The atmosphere sings of a time-cherished speakeasy where you feel like you’re in on the secret. The decor is beautifully eclectic and the kind, attentive staff are an extension of the amazingly hospitable and gregarious proprietor, Melanie! Melanie delightfully holds court in the parlor and throughout the establishment, telling stories and attending to guests like old friends! There are always lively conversations, flowing beverages of choice, and an alluring atmosphere. It would be enough if the wonderfully adorned parlor alone remained to serve as the cultural hub and gathering spot for Belfast, but the unique, well-appointed, themed accommodations take the experience to a whole other level. I’ve had the privilege of being a guest within every format of accommodation HCoD offers and love each one for their own unique reasons. Each are upscale and peaceful and ideal for everything from nomadic travel to romantic escapes complete with breakfast in bed.To have been fortunate enough to call this lavishly sophisticated haven in Belfast my “home away from home” isn’t a cliche but an honor that keeps bringing me back again and again!

kal loul: "Timeless Elegance: A Vintage Journey at the Harrison Hotel, Belfast"I recently stayed at the Harrison Hotel in Belfast and was enchanted by its vintage charm. The ambiance reflects the early 1900s, with eclectic decor pieces from various eras that surprisingly harmonize. The breakfast setup transports you to the 1930s, creating a unique experience. Melanie, the owner, is not only bubbly but also an exceptional conversationalist. The rooms, named after poets and historical figures who once lived there, provide an inspiring touch. It's a refreshing departure from commercialized hotels, and I highly recommend this distinctive gem.

Neb Carnelian: This is my favorite hotel I've ever stayed at. It's a really special place, and I was legitimately sad I had to leave. Everyone was so kind and helpful, and the design and decoration were exquisite. Every room is full of wonderful antiques that make you feel like you traveled back in time in a good way. The bed was cozy. Breakfast was delicious. All in all, it's a perfect stay. Look no further for a room in Belfast.

X: It was marvelous bumping into Sofar’s gig on Sunday night. Absolutely beautiful voices!

Selena Pryce: in the shower however the bed was so so bouncy that everytime my partner moved woke me up felt like I was sleeping on a bouncy castle. Yes really. Breakfast very continental was expecting an option for a small cook breakfast but ok. Personal opinion alot of money 2 nights £540 Inc breakfast and really not much for your money I would recommend but their are cheaper hotels with alot more to give.

Jennifer Downey: Superb & sublimely decadentWhat a beautiful stay we had at The Harrison. The owner, Melanie is charming, passionate & has created something very special in the heart of Belfast. The rooms are individually decorated with style, flair and delicious decadence. Antiques abound mixed in with eclectic art and objets d’art. We attended a fun packed Murder Mystery night with nibbles & cocktails. The rooms are truly beautiful with stunning bathrooms & the best shower I’ve ever had in a hotel. Breakfast is served in the drawing room, continental style with fresh coffee, pastries, cheeses and charcuterie. I really can’t wait to return for another stay & spend more time exploring Belfast.

Chris Kennedy: Five Star as always, we stayed recently and had a very relaxing time. Staff was excellent and very helpful. Some renovations being completed but they had no inconvenience on our stay. Evening meal was superb.Rooms: Rooms spacious and very clean.Walkability: Very central location.

John Lavery: I have stayed at this hotel quite alot for business, it is very close to the ICC centre, however I returned this week with my wife I knew what to expect but this was a very different stay just amazing honestly! The lovely reception ladies welcomed us with an early check in and a voucher to redeem a glass of prosecco for being loyal guests a lovely touch, we took advantage of the steak deal at 50% off all steaks its fantastic value. , the hotel os currently under refurbishment but truly it didn't matter the personal touches and friendly manner make it easy to overlook,Looking forward to coming back to see the new renovated space.

Roisin Magee: Fabulous hotel very clean staff so friendlyRooms: Rooms spacious and very clean, beds so comfortableNearby activities: Right in the city centre plenty to visitSafety: Security on during the night felt so safeFood & drinks: Had a beautiful meal here, service was first class and cocktails were out of this world

Michelle Armstrong: In the heart of city centre, walking distance to retail shops, pubs and great restaurants, Quirky decorated rooms with the most comfortable beds,Compliments to the Chef the Cajun Salmon was amazing!!!We will return soon, ☺️

Margot Creighton: I had the pleasure of returning to the Malmaison Belfast recently. Another great stay despite the extensive refurbishment that was taking place. All the staff were amazing and very professional even though they weren’t in their normal environment. They continued to smile throughout my visit and nothing was too much bother as always. It is lovely to be made feel so welcome. Well done Eamonn and team for the great job you do on a daily basis. I wouldn’t stay anywhere else in Belfast.

Martin Wilson: Stayed Fri 22nd of Feb on the 22nd floor.Great experience checking in, Matthew on the desk was extremely friendly & helpful recommend great bars for us to attend after checking out the roof top bar in the hotel itself.Hotel absolutely spotless, location couldn’t have been better & the breakfast the next morning was to die for.Excellent experience & service all round.Walkability: Great location to city centre

Philip: An absolutely stunning hotel to visit. One of many in Belfast and surrounding areas. This hotel has been through a lot and stood the test of time. Lovely staff . beautiful rooms and interiors. Lots of famous people have stayed so? .. President Clinton a few times I believe. So yea I would recommend this hotel which is a stone throw from The Crown Bar which is a stunning bar visited fairly recently by Prince Harry, and Robinsons bar and other local bars Wetherspoons and many many others.Rooms: Beautiful spacious rooms.Nearby activities: Bars and restaurant's and local amenities. Pretty much the hustle and bustle of Belfast not quite to a New York standard but then New York is a proper city. Belfast is our main City in Northern Ireland, or these islands, our the north of Ireland and so on.Walkability: In the BT1 area which is Belfast city centre. Very close to many bars and restaurants and central transportation.Food & drinks: I had lovely cup of tea and a biscuit

Stephanie Mcallister: Stayed for 3 nights and from stepping into a lovely welcome I am absolutely delighted I chose this hotel. The staff are so friendly and helpful it’s fabulous to see folk care. The room was very nice, spotlessly clean and cleaned to a high standard daily. The bed and pillows are very comfortable and the good heavy curtains kept light out so I slept very well indeed. Parking wasn’t an issue and I was able to walk to plenty nice restaurants around on the main road. I will be coming back here again in a few weeks and will certainly re-book this hotel for sure

Kathy m: I booked this hotel on the date l stayed, and it was very reasonable at only £75 for a 4-star double room with en suite and breakfast. The area is full of small shops and eateries, and it is a short bus ride into the city. It is also a short walk away from the Botanical Gardens and the Ulster Museum.Noteworthy details: The breakfast was outstanding - juices, fruit salad, yoghurts, pastries, cereals, etc. and the most beautiful cooked breakfast.

KEITH NAUGHTON: We have stayed here twice, the perfect place to stay in Blefast. Fanastic staff!! They could put an extra sausage on the breakie, but it's decent as it isWalkability: Perfect for a walk to some great bars and restaurants.

Melany Ávila: LOVELY STAFF!I've written so many reviews for this hotel because i'm so happy about the way I was treated. The staff were the friendliest, especially the receptionist. The room was very clean and very well equipped, the breakfast was SENSATIONAL. The location is fantastic. In summary, can't recommend enough!

My review is focused on the dinner we had though because it was absolutely terrific. We were served by Hannah and she was the loveliest person, really looked after us. The soup was creamy and exploding with flavour. My wife's lamb was cooked to perfection like melt in your mouth perfection. My fish n chips extremely succulant fish. Really exquisite food.
