The Malone Hotel: what do users think?
Alastair White: This is a great hotel. Good value as well. Would have given 5* for the rooms but there was a little issue.Rooms: 4/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 4/5Hotel highlights Great value …More
Gary Donohue: Nice food lovely friendly staff very helpfulRooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Kim rogers: Absolutely fell in love with the Hotel beautiful room, great restaurant, fabulous bar food , great prices , we will return very soonRooms: Beautiful decorated, very clean
Judith Prentice: Rooms very clean. Breakfast superb, with a great staff and chef. Reception beyond excellent. Have travelled throughout New York, Paris, Rome, Singapore, Cambodia, Latvia , Hong Kong etc and yet the Malone beats all for courtesy, efficiency and friendliness. For example, I had a small issue concerning noise, and within less than 5 minutes it was dealt with. Parking is available and staff go out of their way to make travelling comfortable. We highly recommend the Malone Hotel, near the docks, and within walking distance of Queen’s University.Rooms: Clean, large, quietNearby activities: Queen’s University and student Union within walking distance. Numerous pubs with good lunches.Safety: Notices abound about use of lifts, etcFood & drinks: Breakfast superb, helpings generous and varied.
Thomas Morrissey: Really really nice clean and very friendly helpfully staffRooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Maria Alejandra Papasidero: Excelente lugar. El personal muy amable y profesional. Se encuentra en un entorno tranquilo, a unos 30 minutos del centro que caminando se hace muy lindo para recorrer.Rooms: Impecables! Amplias y cómodas!
Stephen McAsey: We really enjoyed our stay. Reception was very warm and friendly. The room was a nice size and well equipped. The cleaning team did an excellent job. It’s location, we found, was ideal. The city centre is 1 1/2 miles down the gentle hill so an easy walk for most, but the uphill return might be challenging if you have been on your feet all day. Regular buses (£1.70) are an option, and even the “City Tours” bus stops outside the hotel!I have not seen any negative comments concerning breakfasts and have drawn the conclusion that our experience is a reflection of more recent developments. We were there for a week and witnessed a unhappy team that was able to prepare a breakfast of reasonable standard. The service for delivering the breakfast was erratic from day to day. Each day there seemed to be different teams. Some days they were very proficient. Other days they were proficient but looked thoroughly miserable. A couple of days the team was short staffed and the poor guy (Tony) who was left on his own managed to get through it. He was very polite and communicative. One of the chefs seemed to be on a go slow for one breakfast and was perfect the next day. All in all, the team needs to be happy and working with each other for the benefit of the customers and the hotel.
michelle d: Staff was friendly and well informed.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 4/5Hotel highlights Quiet …More
Gary Dormer: Everything about this hotel is outstanding. The spacious quiet rooms (we must have got a free upgrade I think?), impeccably clean, the staff are fantastic, bar and food are excellent, the Lobby area is glamorous and comfortable. I’ve stayed in $1100 per night hotel on Fifth Avenue and The Malone is better value for money ! Thank you so much.Rooms: Spacious, clean, huge bed, lovely view, very comfortable, lovely furniture. I think we may have got a free upgrade and if we didn’t these rooms are unbelievable value for money.Nearby activities: It’s only a very short taxi drive away from the City Centre but so much better to be clear of the hustle and bustle of the main streets. Much more suitable for elders like ourselves. We loved it here and the red tour bus stops right outside!Safety: Felt totally safe. Locals are so polite, considerate and friendly. Shops nearby for groceries etcWalkability: Lovely tree lined street in what looks to be a very posh area of Belfast City.Food & drinks: The food and drinks (Guinness) was great.Noteworthy details: I loved the furniture in the lobby and restaurant. The room was really quiet and extremely comfortable.
Anna Marie McCourt: Lovely ,comfortable hotel.Rooms clean.Rooms: Clean, spacious, beds comfortableWalkability: Close to Botanic GardensFood & drinks: Breakfast dissapointingNoteworthy details: No residence bar
Nikhil Gupta: NiceRooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Yvonne McCann: We were staying in Annex across the road. Room was lovely. Went to bar for drink as it is a ‘Haverlee’ bar but they had ‘run out’ of Haverlee on a Saturday evening! The bar man ‘Kevin’ dropped my charge on bar instead of into my outstretched hand. Later in room we phoned reception for some ice and bottle opener to be told to go over to reception and get it as short staffed. I asked if I was to get out of bed get dressed and cross the road rather than get basic room service. After being transferred to The manager ( who was very understanding) we got the ice 10 minutes later. The guy (Stephen) at reception was very pleasant and accommodating! All in all it was a pleasant stay - just some staffing issues need to be looked at.
Rhiannon Bland: Stayed here for one night in early February, everything was great, service in particular was professional and extremely helpful, Aidan checked us in after a busy day and was extremely helpful and answered any questioned we had, couldn’t of been happier with his service, would highly recommend this hotel.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Quiet, Great value …More
Kevin: I stayed here in Febuary. Rooms were great, the beds were some of the comfiest ive ever seen. Joe Mc Kenna: Staff were very friendly & helpful. Room very clean but very warm, no a/c, fan is provided though. Bed was super comfortable.Rooms: Decent size room, bed was comfortable. Very clean and had everything you would need for a short stayNearby activities: Stormont park buildings across the road from hotel. Worth a visitWalkability: Outside of city centre, was difficult to get taxi. Bus stop within walking distance of hotel
Ricky Stanton: Really lovely hotel, reception very helpful. Food was stunning and the best bed I've ever slept inRooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Gavin Williams: Stayed here While visiting some places no too far from Belfast. Rooms are nice enough with decent showers, tea/coffee and water provided in the room. It was a hot spell during my stay so I really appreciated the fan in the room. This is a popular coach tour hotel so breakfast can be quite busy at times. The staff were all incredibly friendly and helpful during my stay.Stormont castle is just across the road and is well worth a visit.
Kim Lurie: Rooms were hot - with no thermostat - though could open the windows. Reported plumbing concern unresolved in a whole day. Housekeeping also not responsive. Doors slam when closing, so disruptive at night when attempting to go to sleep. Located across from Storemont, so that was nice- also on Glider line for access to other commerce though not walkable. Responsive to dietary needs at breakfast, but not at dinner. Has all conveniences, no pool.
V Sala: The room had no aircon and it was a very warm night. The room was nicely decorated. I used the bistro restaurant. Food was good, the service was excellent.Rooms: 3/5|Service: 4/5|Location: 4/5 …More
Stefanie Eisenstadt: I was here for the Sunday buffet and it was amazing. Plenty of food to choose from, starters, mains and desserts also extra things like brunch items. The staff are super friendly, especially Michael, always had a smile and very helpful. Loads of parking to accommodate the large booking.Nearby activities: Stormont buildings across the road, Greenway walkway close by for those that like to keep active. Close to the icebowl and David Lloyds facility. Short drive or bus ride to Belfast center and Titanic area.Food & drinks: Sunday buffet, restaurant on site and food served in the lounge.
Przemyslaw Zytkowiak: Ciężko się do czegoś przyczepić, no może brak klimy w restauracji

R Salman: Nice hotel. Friendly staff.
Renee Kennedy: Had my birthday lunch in restaurant. Buffet was fabulous. Amazing selection of food. Taste for everyoneFood & drinks: Buffet lunch expensive but with every penny.
Barbara Jordan: Wel if I could give a zero I would , what a let down, have been coming to Stormont for years . It was my birthday and we thought it was long since we had been booked a table, menu was poor as well as food 😱 asked for dessert a simple Eton mess, our five year old granddaughter could have made better !! Disgusting .Then went to the bar which was freezing on the 2 June ordered 1 Peroni bottle 6 pounds 1 Smirnoff 5.50!and to my horror 4pounds and thirty pence for a zero coke . Service in bistro and bar were awful . Sorry but will never be back !!! Bring back Antony .Food & drinks: Over priced
George Jordan: Haven’t been to the Stormont hotel in a while. Surprised by the drop in standards of the food, service was slow, menu limited, knickerbocker glory was more like chocolate milkshake. Bar prices unreasonably high. £4.30 for a coke.Food & drinks: Highly priced
Allyson Lynn: My daughter attended a formal here, it was just perfect.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Kid-friendly …More

Joni Francis: Rooms: We stayed in a suite 👌Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Luxury …More
Beata Kaufmann: Hotel beautiful, old style. But, low standard!!!The room had dirty pillows, no fridge, the room was cold. You have to carry your luggage to the room yourself. The spa in the hotel speaks for itself. My friends had a massage, which was supposed to be done for 60 minutes - it only lasted 20 / 25 minutes.I had my nails done, the photo below speaks for itself. The workmanship, very low.My, grandmother does it better! In the toilets near the pool, it is dirty and not orderly, there is a lack of tolet paper and towels, nobody checks it.No, I would not recommend this spa to my friends.
Jim Wallace: Stayed overnight for a show which was great, however few points of disappointment.Arrived at 2.30 and had access to room, asked about dinner and was told it fully booked for Complete evening, had light snack in lounge thinking we could get something from bar or room service after show.... no joy. Show finished at 10.30, kitchen closed at 9.30, tried room service, only traybakes, crisps and popcorn available, could have ordered drinks... as Bar closed at 11.Rooms OK but could do with towel rails In bathroom, only a shelf which is no use for damp towels. Can say staff especially duty receptionist were great.
Joanne Lyness: Food & drinks: Went for our works Christmas Dinner and I was so disappointed,£50.00 per head ☹, the food was very disappointing, I had the pate which was very runny, the main wasn't warm either and the trio of puddings one of them looked and tasted like a spoonful of raspberry jam and might I add there was a member of staff whose name I dont know as her long blond hair covered her name badge was more interested in stroking her hair and the next minute she was walking out with plates of food in her hands🤮 I am just sorry I didn't take photos. I would like to add the entertainment was brilliant but went home and got takeaway on way.
Mike Francis: Under staffed, had my suit posted before arrival, confirmed receipt of it but lost it! No help available with luggage at Stormont hotel .Avoid!Rooms: 2/5|Service: 1/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Mark Taylor-Mason: A beautiful, and a very warm welcome 😊Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Audrius Buinovskis: Professional place, nice staff
Harry Parkinson: My son and his 2 friends arrived into what should have been a memorial experience after lock down, instead they had to wait 45 minutes for a drinks order delivered to the room. By the Managers (Kieran McManus) own admission they have a skelton staff at night time . There was absolutely no recognition and indeed even though my son paid top price for the suite they were only interested in receiving payment...customer service entirely nonexistent for a purported 5 star hotel

Paul Flynn: Excellent stay, room fantastic, staff very friendly and helpful, food excellent. Parking was great in the ncp car park. Will definitely be back.
Stephen Ryan: The hotel is lovely and the staff are wonderful, we had an issue with our shower in our room, which wasn't resolved and the manager moved us to a better room for us to stay in, very professional. The breakfast was delicious and had a wide variety of food. We had drinks in the hotel and felt that while the bar staff were polite they were a bit slow in serving. The location of the hotel is perfect, Belfast is a walk around city and the Cayton is right in the middle of everything.
Elizabeth Scott: Nice friendly staff, room was clean & comfortable bed. Great location, food & drink were over priced but plenty places round about to eat & drink. Definitely stay here again. 👌Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Great view, Great value …More

Stephen Casement: Excellent as always!Rooms: Very relaxing ambienceNearby activities: Continual market, shopping, St.Georges market.Walkability: Walking distance to everything we wanted.
Mario Stjepanovic: Check in/out with ease, parking behind hotel was brilliant and discounted by hotel. Room (deluxe double) was spacious and spotless clean, very comfortable bed, great shower, blackout curtains and a massive TV. Our room on the day had a view of a wall, but that didn't bother us at all as we went out most of the day. Very quiet, no noise in hallway nor could we hear any usual city noises. Location is great, walking distance to everything. Will definitely stay here again, highly recommend.Rooms: Spacious and very very clean. Comfortable bed and blackout curtains.Safety: We noticed security at the door in evening, and late in morning around 1am. Very reassuring.Walkability: Near everything!

Bullitt Hotel: what do users think?
Barrachina “BaRRuKa”: Muy buen lugar en pleno centro. El único problema puede llegar a ser el ruido de los pub de abajo y terraza, aunque la verdad es que el ruido de la gente no nos impidió dormir.
Triin de Speville: I only went there for dinner and cocktails. Fantastic DJ outside, the food was outstanding and the whiskey sour looked pretty and tasted perfect. Kind staff and very London-esque vibe.Hotel highlights Luxury …More

Lindsay Kelly: We stayed in the hotel for the weekend, we were a large group of ladies & all I can say is it was amazing from beginning to end, on check in Karen looked after us & her customer service was outstanding. She had everything ready to go for us, we then had lunch outside at the bar & again the staff were exceptional & food was great. The rooms themselves were smallish but they were modern, & spotless. The shower was fab.We went to the rooftop bar for drinks during our stay & again were welcomed so warmly & looked after. There is also a very cool cocktail bar attached to the hotel. We went here both evenings for some cocktails & Chris & Mat looked after us here. The cocktails were so good. Also a big shout out to John our night porter. The breakfast in the hotel was great & if you are into your coffee check their coffee bar out! Fantastic local roasters & properly trained barista’s. This hotel is by far one of the best hotels in the city for its service & amazing value. We cannot wait to come back. Thanks to all the staff for making our whole weekend so memorable.😊❤️
Andreas Sorex: Entspannte Atmosphäre, gute Lage zum Zentrum und zu den Bushaltestellen, freundlich
John Scelzi: I cannot properly put down how great the Bullitt is. We wound up staying here while spending two weeks around Ireland, and I used the Bullitt as the means to measure all other hotels. It's centrally located to everything in Belfast, the restaurant stays open late, the rooms are very modern, and the staff is the epitome of helpful. I can't wait to come back just to stay here again.
Quentin Martin: Good location, however rooms are above bar and its always loud. If you are looking for a good nights sleep, do not stay hereRooms: 4/5|Service: 4/5|Location: 4/5 …More

Lively vibrant and relaxed atmosphere.Rooms: Nice, presentable, clean.Nearby activities: Near lovely pubs. Local tours, and transport, lots to do.Walkability: In Belfast City Centre, close to shopping, pubs , and local tours and transport.
David W.: Hotel was very nice. The best part of it was the service and attention to detail. It may be a "4 Star" hotel but their service is 5 stars all the way. The most amazing shower in the UK. The hotel's breakfast was par-excellent. Standard setting. The smoked salmon was to die for. From the plating, to the food temp and taste, appearance, value. All of it. On all cylinders. Great service in the restaurant and really great service from the hotel staff. We'll be back.
John Bennett: Home from home. Very friendly in all ways. Great Central location.Rooms: 4/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
