Malmaison Belfast: what do users think?
Kerry B: Had a pretty poor experience for our anniversary. Air conditioning was not working in the hotel (albeit it looked like our room didn’t have any regardless). There was a fan in the closet but it just blew the hot air around. We were put in a dusty small room on the 4th floor with very little ventilation and worn decor. I asked to change the room was told no. I asked for a refund so I could go elsewhere and was also told no. I would not stay here again. They were trying to fix the air conditioning but in the mean time everyone was suffering.
Kevin Tough: Great stay at a reasonable price. Room was excellent.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Luxury, Quiet …More
Glen Harris: A beautiful hotel, centrally located. The first floor room was a little hot with lots of noise coming from outside well into the early hours - not for the light sleepers amongst you. Aircon was available which I didn't use to be fair. The night team were helpful in arranging transport on request for my necessary but stupidly early 04:30 checkout. I'd happily stay here again.
jAnthony Perez: Great exhibitLocation: 5/5 …More
jo white: Rooms: Romantic but in need of changes!Nearby activities: Great for city activities shopping etcWalkability: On the flat and close to Victoria centreEtc
Brian Ingram: Nice hotel in a good location. Walked to most places. Nice staff and good sized room. Liked the restaurant and the bar.Rooms: 4/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Great value …More
Devi Manohar: I am Mano works in Malmaison, London. I visited Belfast for couple of days and stayed in the Hotel. If I could remember the name Jonathan, he is so lovely guy. He helped me out in figuring the breakfast and guided me for the places to visit nearby. Food is amazing, I like the Hot Triangular Potato croquettes, thanks to the chefs. Even the receptionists were so cool and kind. I love this place and people. Hope to visit again in the future ❤️
aisling devitt: Staff great breakfast lovely rooms are nice but could be cleaned a little better. There was no air conditioning and we found we were awake 3 times during the night with the heat. Great location.
Alonso Ruiz Velasco Angeles: Pros: great location, staff very friendly, dinner was good there.Cons: Extremely dirty, lots of dust everywhere, the bedroom had me with allergies my full trip, dead like-cockroaches animals in the gym. Breakfast was only adequate. Soap dispensers in the room were broken. Air conditioner would not work properly.Honestly, the cleanliness was the biggest issue, it was just that unbearable. The pic is from the rooms radiator.
Ian Bee: Hotel is stylish. Location is very good for Belfast city and walking from the hotel. Service from the staff is also very good. Breakfast was very expensive when all you need is cereal and a coffee, so I walked to ESTD a few minutes away. Ate one dinner at the Malmaison restaurant, the staff were good, the food good, albeit quite expensive for what you get. The baked rooster potato was one massive potato and was hard to eat.The room was a standard double room, of an adequate size on 4th floor (in the roof space). Moved from 3rd floor having first of all being placed right next to lifts. It cost Euro 308.16 for two nights, about £132.50 per night. The stand out feature was it was very hot in the room, when 20C to 22C outside and the heat in the room stays as temperature dips at night. With no air-con and what seems to be poor air flow in the hotel (old building, narrow corridors, lots of doors), had to run the supplied fan all night at top speed, with the window open and it was still uncomfortable to sleep. On the Thursday night the noise from music from the surrounding area went on beyond 11pm, with the window open to stay cool the noise made sleep very difficult. The sash window was very difficult to open, stiff and heavy. The bathroom does not have much space on the side so is very crammed and the shower whilst good, is a shower over the bath.I would not stay here again in the summer / warmer months.
Vicki Umanski: Friendly welcome from the reception team.Room was aa expected however the whole building is quite dark so not great for putting make up on. Would suggest getting LED lights.Morning was a let down. Waited around 40mins for my eggs benedict as the plate that should have been mine was given to a person who had just ordered. They apologised but it was extremely slow! When food finally arrived, eggs were under done.
Paz Cohen: מלון נעים מאד, מיקום נח שירות מצוין
Geoff Alleger: Rooms: Hot and stuffy. No air conditioning.Food & drinks: Bar and restaurant staff were wonderful. Beer selection is garbage but the wine and cocktails were much better.Rooms: 2/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 3/5 …More

Chris Shaw: Great location. Rooms were nice but there was no Aircon. The hotel held a £100 deposit on my wife's card for over 2 weeks and they still haven't released it. Rooms very expensive at £140 per night. The lobby bar is nice with very good cocktails.Rooms: 4/5|Service: 1/5|Location: 4/5 …More

Radisson Blu Hotel, Belfast: what do users think?
Liam Murphy: This was the dirtiest hotel room I've ever seen!I stayed here with my wife and son in the second week of June 2023, we had never stayed in a raddison blu hotel before but I had only heard good things about the chain in the past so we decided to go ahead and book it!The location it great and the receptionist and bar staff were very nice but the room was so dirty upon arrival, both bedside lockers were extremely sticker with glass rings all over from the previous guests, hand prints on the walls from I don't know how long, we had the pull out couch for our son and after seeing how dusty under the TV and room service menu was I decided to check the gap between the wall and couch and I have never seen any hotel care so little about cleanliness! There was so much dust in behind and on top to the pull out couch, we brought the photos down to the receptionist who was very nice, as we wanted to change room because our son is asthmatic but there was no other rooms that night we were told that I would be cleaned right away and that we would be offered a different room the next night, when we returned the dust had been cleaned but the bedside lockers were still very sticky so we cleaned them ourselves, the next day we go no offer for a different room unfortunately. Also the light switch beside the bed was broken which would not be great to have children aroundUnfortunately I would would not recommend this hotel for families
Ulrico Zubler: Very spacious rooms, little bit old and would need some maintenance. Service was great, we were late but they managed to go the extra mile and we could get warm food, thanks!Rooms: 3/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 3/5Hotel highlights Quiet …More
Anoop Lal MR: Property is not clean! Seems to be old!Rooms: 3/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Matthew Leopold: Fairly recently refurbished. Smart and clean room. Although the Bathroom was tired and needed work. Friendly staff. 10-15 min walk from centre of town. Kindly provided a cotRooms: 4/5|Service: 4/5|Location: 4/5Hotel highlights Kid-friendly …More
David Michael D: Very basic and rooms need upgrading. Staff were friendly and location was great.
Paul Savage: Rooms were not clean hotel needs an upgradeRooms: Need a good cleaning 😩Food & drinks: Breakfast was not good but bar food was ok
Beverley Clarke: The room was not at all impressive to say the least. Compared to RB in other places this does not come close. There was an ingrained stain on the bedsheet and worst of all shards of glass at the edge of the table. The carpet was quite disgusting with stains and the wardrobe was thick with dust.I spoke with reception who asked me to send photos but unfortunately was given the wrong mail address. I persevered and photos were received. The bedsheet was changed and room dusted. There didn’t seem to be any real acknowledgement of my complaint. It was met with an apathetic response. Possibly because the staff have become used to guests complaints for valid reasons ?I would not use this hotel again. It was unclean at best, aged with the unprecedented presence of broken glass that had not been removed.AVOID !
João Almeida: Rooms: Average rooms, in need of maintenance but spacious.Food & drinks: Great and complete breakfastRooms: 3/5|Service: 4/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Mo music: Oh this is really bad hotel I don’t give it even 3 starts like everything was broken in the junior suite. Staff are not nice and they say they will fix things but never do , I asked for milk and soup I didn’t get any of it , rooms not clean you can see the dirt everywhere, honestly very poor management and i wouldn’t go back at all ! Please avoid this place or you will have a lot of headaches
DMR: The hotel is pretty old. Rooms are smelling carpet. But overall a clean hotel. Personnell is very nice. The pool right next to hotel is very nice. Price is reasonable. Most importantly it is a walking distance to city centre.Rooms: OldWalkability: Very close to city centre
Shirle Ternan: The hotel is tired looking. Halls need updating. Carpet is very tired. Bedding is satisfactory. Restaurant staff are inexperienced and need training. (are inattentive). Restaurant food (supper) was marginal. Chowder was watery and Marguerita pizza was just a cheese pizza (so call it that!). Breakfast buffet was ok but not very hot. Marginal at best. Price point is higher than it should be for the quality.Rooms: Bedding was satisfactory and bathrooms very clean
doyler yehaaa: Great hotel, great serviceRooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Randa Bamatraf: Best Hotel in town. Friendly staff. Spacious rooms and clean. And safety areaRooms: Clean and spaciousSafety: Very safety and camera all around
Philisiwe Zuma: I loved the location of the hotel, we could walk to town. Easy to get out to go places like the Titanic etc. We arrived when there was complimentary parking, I loved that. The food at the restaurant was nice. I checked in online and selected king bed but arrived in a room of 2 single beds, called reception no answer. Luckily there was a house keeping guy outside who changed it BUT he put in a double inner in a king cover, only realised late at night that the duvet was all wrong. We let it go for the night, in the morning I went to reception to let them know so they'd ask accommodation to have it changed, hours later it hadn't been changed. My advice don't bother ringing reception from your room, it just rings off. I sent an email no reply. I went down to reception to let them know again but nobody went in to change and to hoover. The room itself could have done with a bit of dusting and there were hairs everywhere, particularly in the bath tub and the chair. The lighting was also not that great in that room. The staff are generally nice just one lady that was rude towards my little one, perhaps they don't have enough kids menu, she practically walked over and snatched the menu off my kids hands and said "Give me that small menu" and it turns out the couple with an infant did not need a menu, there were 7 tables with 2 waiters... Her head can't be spinning because of that!!Rooms: For the rates people pay the standard of room should be high, who checks the rooms are up to standard before checking in guests? It's distu

Gary Droghini: Nice hotel on the river. Unfortunately, it is away from the city center and is popular with tour buses.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 3/5 …More
Chris Holliday: Nice hotel but a little out the way a good walk into the city centre and near the busy overpass road for cars crossing the river.Keep this in mind when booking your trip .Staff on the desk not the most helpful.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 3/5|Location: 1/5 …More
Jenny: Good hotel located in a nice area. There is a parking structure across the street. There is a reduced fair on weekends. Saturday to Sunday is 5 pounds for parking. On regular days I believe it is 15. The room was very clean and breakfast was pretty decent too.
Gavin Mclean: Lovely place to have a lunch - staff very attentive
Megan Banker: Expensive for what it is. There’s no parking - but there is a third-party paid garage across the street. My whole floor smelled really bad - kind of like a sewer. The room itself was fine - it was a good size but I woke up and was so swollen and stuffy.I had dinner at the restaurant which wasn’t super busy and there was a decent amount of staff. I chose the three course menu and at first things were fine - the soup was salty but ok, my main was fine and then I waited about 45 minutes with servers walking past and no one acknowledging me. I finally flagged someone down and asked him to cancel my dessert and asked to close out my check. He was nice about it but it was just so bizarre. I should have just gone out for dinner but I was exhausted from traveling. It’s not really near anything but has a nice view of the water and titanic quarter.
Jose Miguel Trigo: Hotel moderno, nueva construcción. Muy bien ubicado y con instalaciones actualizas. Buen servicio y prestaciones.
Rita: Fantastic service by the staff and the restaurant. The food was beautifulThey have recently refurbished the outside area, and it is beautiful...very, chic, and stylish,Rooms: Beautiful and everything that you could need...very comfortable beds.Walkability: 5 minutes walk from the city centre.Food & drinks: The food is amazing!!!
Udit Mahajan: Poor breakfast in terms of taste. On the positive side, the room had a river facing view and was of good size.Rooms: 4/5|Location: 3/5 …More
jose lopez: Precioso hotel y muy bien comunicado
M “ML” L: For a Marriott this was only an OK stay, there is a certain standard I expect when going to Marriott hotels and here that was not fully met.Something isn't right with the beds in this hotel, they are very very soft. Breakfast is OK, but we haven't had much time at the breakfast because as soon as the large tourist groups that are typically staying here show up you are leaving the breakfast area.Somehow the hotel needs to figure out how to separate large tourist groups from the rest of the guests to make it a nice stay for everyone.
Robert Jackson: Nearby activities: titanic building st George's market and bars and restaurantsWalkability: 15 to 20 min walk to bars and restaurantsFood & drinks: we had brunch her sat outside on the water front lovely views
Andrej Sokolov: All goodRooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
freddie gayfer: Quite good overall. Almost gave it a 3 star but I think it just about deserves 4.The bed was massive but creaky. Also the pillows were tiny for the size of the bed. There was also some mould in the shower.Breakfast was fine but a bit limited in options. Also the fruit selection was pitiful. Just some melon which was flavourless and soggy. The watermelon had no crispness at all.Good location though, modern and pretty clean.
